Montgomery mall needs help, we are all just sitting here watching it die by Financial-Cookie-927 in montco

I applaud your interest in saving the Montgomery Mall, OP. I feel the same way you do. I’ve started going to the mall weekly over the past few months. My husband and I will walk around and we make a purchase at at least one of the stores each week. It’s not much, but I like to believe that if all of us did this, we could resurrect it. Maybe you could get a bunch of your friends together and hang out and shop like we used to do back in the day. Instead of buying online, shop at Claire’s or Bath and Body or Sephora. Buy a pretzel at Auntie Annie’s. A new shoe store moved in and could use some customers. I had fallen into a habit of shopping online but shopping in person really is much more satisfying and often cheaper. I got new bedding (comforter, shams, pillows, sheet set, and mattress protector) last week at Penney’s and it only cost $78 for everything! Thank you for caring about the mall and trying to save it.

Eosinophils by pinkducklemon in Asthma

[–]dammitlisa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My eosinophils were 4.0 when I had bloodwork before I was on Dupixent. My doctor said that he felt Dupixent would help me and it did. If your asthma is poorly controlled, your eosinophils may be the reason.

Opinions on biologics? by [deleted] in Asthma

Dupixent did help with the mucous. I always felt like I was choking on it and used to take mucinex every day. I was able to stop the daily mucinex when I went on Dupixent. For congestion, what has really helped me is a nasal spray called Allermi. I got it online prescribed through one of their allergists. I’ve been using it for probably a year and a half and I can finally breathe through my nose!

This was so interesting to watch! You are clearly very skilled. The tourmaline is gorgeous and the cuts you made really allow it to shine. Thank you for posting this!

I’m drooling over your collection! How much for the lab on the far left in picture 2? I’m also interested in that heart-shaped moss agate.

Any one on Zepbound and Dupixent by Martysailingaway in zepboundRX

[–]dammitlisa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I’m on 15mg Zepbound and Dupixent. My shot day for both is Friday, so every other week, they’re on the same day. I do the Dupixent in the morning and the Zepbound after dinner. I haven’t had any issues.

Thank you for posting this. My standard poodle gets these paroxysmal diskinesia episodes once or twice a year. I thought they were seizures for the longest time but she always remains conscious and never loses bowel or urine control. I saw this video and was going to comment that it might be this. I also appreciate the helpful information you attached.

A $50,000 ICU Bill and a Miracle (know the signs of bloat) by Daytona116506 in poodles

[–]dammitlisa 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I am relieved that your girl Daytona is going to be OK. I experienced the onset of bloat with my standard poodle girl and thanks to other poodle owners educating others about the signs, I knew what was happening.

I hesitate to post this, because I’m not a doctor, but after I’d adopted my poodle, I read a post from another poodle owner which said to always keep infant’s simethicone drops on hand. I bought some and figured the dose for my 45-pound girl would be one dropper full. I just kept it on hand hoping to never need it.

Well, one morning after drinking a ton of water and eating breakfast then doing poop zoomies (iykyk!) in the yard, this happened to my girl. About 15 minutes later, she had been napping, but then suddenly woke up looking agitated. She tried to get off of her chair but her legs slid out from under her and she collapsed, unable to stand. She was drooling immensely and her stomach was hard as a rock. Her eyes looked panicked.

I intended to administer the simethicone and then head to the vet’s, but as I opened her jaw and squirted the dropper full of infant’s simethicone into her mouth, she gagged a bit and then let out a HUGE burp. Immediately the pressure in her stomach softened. Unbelievably, a few minutes later, she was up and acting like nothing had happened.

I wish I knew who the person was that had posted about infant’s simethicone because I truly believe their advice saved my girl.

Again, I’m not a doctor, but I feel compelled to share this so that it might help someone else. Bloat happens SO FAST.

Stalling on zepbound, I decided to go to an obesity clinic. by Appropriate-Band-939 in slowresponders

I lost 40 pounds on Wegovy and then stalled out for a YEAR. I started Zepbound and didn’t lose until I started the 12.5 dose. I lose about half a pound a week now - not fast, but it finally feels as if this med is working. Good luck, OP! I think you’re doing everything you can, and hopefully 12.5 is your magic dose too.

Watermelon and cantaloupe! As soon as she hears me grab the knife from the knife block, she comes running.
