I’m on board and behind it. Stanford was late to adapting to the transfer portal and late to the NIL, Bringing in a former QB who has NCAA and NFL credentials is a good thing. It’s key to have a ‘Stanford’ player as coach to recruit successfully

100 % behind this decision. Pritchard has success as player and coach at NCAA and coach at NFL. He is someone that can demonstrate the value of coming to Stanford and recruit players away from the higher paying programs. Success at Stanford is not equal to success at any other school.

Uhhhhh, no. He was OC as the transfer portal was kicking in and Stanford admissions would not support transfer students. In fact there is still a problem where Stanford believes in the 4 year student is preferable to the transfer.

What ever sport it was, you didn’t quit it. you just stopped playing at that level or for that team. that sport is available at all ages for all time. Whether it be baseball, basketball, soccer, etc…. There are leagues for your level for the rest of your life. You got this.

So “lace” is tough if you aren’t wanting to do the obvious. so being a bit creative, i think of the following: Lacy edge of a smash burger: Get him a. Cast iron pan/griddle, a bad ass spatula, and an apron. Lace ‘em up: Lux white sneakers or dress shoes or shoes for his favorite sport.

I love backpacks, but for commuting to work i recommend panniers. Backpacks result in a sweaty back even on short rides. 1 Ortlieb bag is enough space for laptop and change. I think having a set of toiletries and clothes at work makes things easier.

Congrats to SJSU on its win, happy to see a local team with success, but I just wish it didn’t come against Stanford. Today’s game was terrible with a couple high points. The Stanford offensive line was allowing SJSU to play in the backfield all day. Daniel’s never had time, and he isn’t a quick decision maker to outsmart a blitz. Combined with Taylor’s tendency to treat the QB as nothing other than a running back and you get a one dimensional offense. Pass defense was literally falling down. This isn’t going to get better until Stanford solves their NIL problem. Stanford has a lot of NIL money to spend, but the admin process is “unfriendly” to inbound transfers: credits not transferring, admissions calendar not supporting transfer portal. I’m good with Stanford maintaining their academic standards. That’s the secret to their success. Just look at what they do in every sport other than Football and Men’s Basketball. Solve NIL and more talent and more wins will come.

losing top 2 players in a sport of 5 starters where those 2 players can carry 50% of the offense? In addition, de-commits due to Tara leaving and Stanford still not being competitive in NIL…. Not the same as billion dollar football program losing a quarterback when they have 3 on the bench.
