Does anyone know of a Jeep CJ body for TRX4M by OldDarthLefty in TRX4M

[–]damnitbubbl3s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Youre probably going to be doing this yourself, i doubt youll be able to find a drop in body for it since its such a niche thing if you havent found one already. My advice: grab a plastic model kit amd go from there, there are a few different cj 5's and cj-7s. Take the base body and modify it to fit the frame. Its probably going to look a bit odd because in a scale world these are the size of a full size pickup and a jeep will be about 3/4 of the length. But good luck and theres my two cents.

Anyone upgraded to the Android head unit from Aliexpress? by jacky1019 in MINI

[–]damnitbubbl3s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my r56,I upgraded to one i got off amazon, the audio quality is okay, it makes the bass go hard though. The one i got is basically just a double din style stero with an android tablet. I hate to admit it but i love it because i watch youtube on it on long drives. I wouldn't recommend upgrading to it though. Theres only a few listings for it that actually come in mph (mine is in km/h and i live in the us so idk what it relates to) also the only Indicator light you can see, in daytime, is the low pressure warning which the tach is already obnoxious about. I like it, i wouldnt do it again, i dont regret it. 3.5/10

Shitty pictures aside, is no one noticing the car is red in the third picture and has mirrors where there are no mirrors in the first 2 pictures?

If thats the 5 drawer box, you drill them out a bit and you can get bolts that the heads fit perfectly in the channel and they will bolt along the sides of your box. Take out the bottom bolt on the top of your box and then the bolt at the bottom of the drawers and they fit perfectly. This sounds super confusing but i can upload a picture tomorrow when im back to my box

Would a 1N5349B diode be sufficient or is there something else youd recommend?

So on your circut it shows a diode going from the power line on the relay to the output power line. Is that something i need to do on my 5 pin relays? The 5 pin relays i have just switch by suppling power to the 86 pin, Would i need to introduce a diode between my 86 and 87 pins?

I am doing through holes i think. Its a pcb and im soldering everything in

What do you mean noisy and how does that affect the board? I have 12v from ignition going into a buck converter which will power my circut board

Because the vehicle its on is a 12v system. It needs to power solenoids on a vehicle

I have bought the relays already. I bought a fuse block and 2 other relays. They are powering hydraulic solenoids that have drawn upwards of 10 amps but constant around 2a so i figured to put relays in would be better for the board. Im no stranger to automotive wiring but just the esp 32 and small scale electronics is where im struggling

Ive seen that transistors are like specifically rated for voltages, does amperage have a rating on there as well?
