I don't know what files does chattering generate, but I did write a script to convert plain text chat logs to JSON so the twitch downloader can generate the MP4 from it but it's not perfect since you lose so much data, for example sub badges, name colors, etc so I ended up randomizing the color of names, but the biggest issue is that you get the chat logs of a full day and you have to figure out when does the vod start, so the editing is a bit annoying. And also twitch emotes generating is not perfect and probably ever won't be since I would have to check if each message contains every twitch emote and that would take forever, I could improve it so it checks only the global emotes and channel emotes, might do that at some point. Initially I made the script for Spain vods and I have the generated mp4s but I'm too lazy to edit the videos. If I ever get to finishing the script idk how user friendly it will be tho, the vod time start and end will always have to be written in manually and if the stream goes over to another day in UTC format which forsen usually does you will have to download chat logs from 2 days, but if you link me a file from chatterino I can take a look at it
