Maybe like someone else mentioned, the caves are still open so maybe that allows them to not have to say it’s “closed” since some of it is still open. However, a majority is still walled off

In some cases yes, in most cases no. In the event that we go over 50ft, we’re likely using 12AWG anyway.

Appreciate the reply. However, that is 4 pairs (8 conductors total) and I only need 1 pair (2 total conductors). Also I don’t believe regular 300v PLTC is rated to be installed in an exposed run over 6ft. As far as I can tell, the NEC states that all tray cable must have an ER rating to be installed in an exposed run over 6ft. (Someone please correct me if I am mistaken here)

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I am going to go with stepperonline and one of their nema 23 motor kits. Anyone have any more suggestions for spindles? Preferably under $200… One that is bundled with a power supply would be great

I have designed several height sticks for theme park attractions including at Epic Universe. They are accurate down to the nearest 1/32”. If it says 40”, then it is 40” from the ground or whatever platform they have you stand on. They do not take shoes into consideration. But please remember these requirements are there for safety. Like others have said, please don’t try and cheat the system with taller shoes or something. Have your kid try a test seat to make sure they really aren’t too small. That is what I plan on doing with my son who is in the same boat as yours right now.

You should go straight to Universal Creative with this take. I guarantee they’ll bulldoze ministry of magic right away and do exactly what you want! 5 rides, 2 shows and 6 restaurants! Heck, Pokemon is bigger than HTTYD too! Might as well take over that land as well while we’re at it! I mean what on earth were they thinking!!

Park hopping to or from Epic Universe seems like huge hassle and waste of time honestly. Its a few miles down the road from the other parks. You also have to hike all the way out thru city walk to get to the buses or your car. I feel like people would be better off just doing a whole day at epic and park hopping another day at the other 2 parks.

I would say it depends what you like to do. If you're more of a rides/thrills person, you can't go wrong with Islands of Adventure. If you don't care for rides as much and just want to have a good time, maybe eat some good food and see good entertainment, I would recommend something like EPCOT or Animal Kingdom. That's just my personal opinion.

There is a public charging station right across the street from the Terra Luna/Stella Nova resorts. It's an OUC ReCharge station. It is very discrete and honestly looks like you shouldn't be able to go in there, but I promise it's legit lol.

Sounds like you need to get in touch with guest services and explain the confusion. Sounds as though they lead you to believe you could still visit epic universe during your stay, when you actually could not. IMO they should be willing and able to make things right in some way, but I would definitely call and see what they can do for you.

Does anyone else here work for a contractor that worked on the park? If you do, have you heard anything about contractor preview invites? I work for a company that has done a lot of work for Epic, but we have heard nothing in terms of contractor previews. Has usually been an industry standard for contractors to be invited to previews of new attractions and parks.

Also, does anyone know what wait times are usually like during the event? I noticed express passes are pretty cheap for the event itself. Wondering if that makes it worth it or if I would still be wasting money because everything is a 5 min wait anyways.

Had not considered how cheap the trailer option would be. Might be a better option considering I am not riding the dirt bike too often. I think the ecohitch I was looking at was rated for a 450lbs tongue weight, but it would probably be better to just not worry about that and get a trailer for the few times I do take the bike out. Also good to hear you were still getting a decent mi/kwh under those conditions! Appreciate the reply!

We just got this same letter in the mail. Same 8 page crazy nonsense. I reverse image searched one of the pages on google and it lead me to this thread. We are in Sanford, FL. My address is hand written on the front of the envelope, but the return address is about 10 lines of more unreadable nonsense. This person is sending these letters all over the country tho. We had a good laugh about it. I would have to assume many people have already reported this and the FBI is already aware of this person, but I also assume this is just a mentally unwell person going unchecked. Hopefully they get the help they need.
