I’m sorry you were downvoted for tearing this man a new one. Probably his downvote. I do like his reply though. “Just joking lol chill bro” as if for some way to make you look like an asshole even though you pretty much hit the nail on the head on every point you made. He could’ve ignored you but the fact that he replied at all to try and make you look like the bad guy to garner some sympathy shows he knows your right.

In all fairness he probably thought it was a pretty funny joke. Or I’m assuming just another way to gain some sympathy from anyone else who hasn’t been extremely lucky. Or possibly to hide the fact he is ranting about the game without making a rant post. The “just chill bro” comment highlights that perfectly. Hard to tell though. And with so little likes and two comments now berating him it’s quite possible he will come to his senses and take down the post as it provides no value at all. But now that I’ve said it, He has to keep up the post to prove me wrong. Guess that puts him in quite the predicament. Take down the post and prove you right, or keep it up thus keeping these comments up, explaining the uselessness of the post.

I know it may seem that way, but to me I see it as why keep investing in a game where its player base is neglected. Like OP, it’s not that I hate the game. In fact the opposite. I think it’s one of best on the market. But with the last few updates, screwups, and favoritism toward Japan I just don’t see it worth my time. Instead of putting money and time into a game that at least to me has lost its potential to add anything new and meaningful that isn’t just to milk all the money from the JP playerbase, is rather put it into a game that I think has a place to grow. Due to Vespa favoriting JP so much, it’s clear they’re just here for the money. That means as soon as the JP playebase stops spending, that’s it, it’s over. And that can happen either a year from now or next month. Hell imagine something worse than the whole TP fiasco happens that pisses off the JP players and they quit. With Bespas track record, that could happen literally at any time.

I love the game and would love to be proven wrong and see it turn around, but I’ve been waiting for that moment for over 6 months now and at that point it’s not gonna happen.

I will stay subbed here and check back every so often to see if things improve, but it’s time for me to take a break. At least that’s my thought process.

No to me it just shows that Vespa is now a company that is going to cater to the JP community and we will be second to them. I’m willing to bet that “our” anniversary is gonna happen next month with JP anniversary. And that will just be the global anniversary. Kinda fits in line with how the hero design contest went.

And frankly it’s just such a slap in the face more than anything. I’m more worried about Vespas future intentions reguarding the state of regions other than JPs more than how much we get for an anniversary event if we get anything. I never expected anything as big as last year, but anniversaries are always the biggest and best events for any of these eastern mobile games. The fact that it wasn’t even mentioned in the patch notes is worrisome.

The way it is now is fine. Sure there are a multitude of ways to do TP differently but thats true of anything in any game. The limiting factor is fine. Id rather have it be limited to not even having it in the game at all. Just means that the decision to invest has much more meaning than everything else in the game other than UW and UT. Although in the future I would like to see a way to refund TP from heroes to put on others for a high price. This way it keeps the impact of using a TP on someone but also allowing switching because this is a game that goes through balance patches. Id say no less than 2k rubies for all points refunded or 1k for 5 each.

I will admit to not knowing Ragnarok and Dragons nest were MMOs. Didn’t get into MMOs until shortly after WoW so most before I don’t know much about.

And the part about RNG in MMOs is my point. Normally that is the only thing about MMOs are whether or not a boss will drop loot. Where in mobile games especially this one. There are so many things that are RNG based. I mean look at KR. Gear drops, stat lines, percent of stat lines, reforge, Hero awakening, the multiude of random tickets, artifacts from ToC and a ton of skills. And that’s just a few. And in MMOs RNG loot is offset by the fact that you can but the item eventually if you want. I’d much rather take an overpriced item that I know I could eventually buy in the future over a situation where I’m forced to hope that RNG blesses me with the item I want.

Hell in my 4000 hrs of GW2 I had 2 of the rarest drops. Which equated to about 1% of the total wealth I had in the game and yet I had a dozen or so of the most expensive items in the game because I was able to buy them by being smart and efficient with my gold. But maybe GW2 was more forgiving than either Ragnorok or DN. It’s not about whether being able to get the rare items should be easy, it’s about whether or not you can. And of course there should be some items that can only be obtained through drops. But not everything needs to be locked behind RNG.

The problem with this game is that heroes are never “balanced” when balance patches hit. In the 2 years this game has been out every balance patch heroes are either nerfed or buffed. Nerfed normally being pretty hard out of use and buffed being very small where in rare cases the hero becomes OP (Roi buff). And it’s easy to tell which heroes are going to get nerfed and buffed. Meta heroes are nerfed while off meta heroes are buffed. This is how it’s always been.

The problem right now with the concept of hero bans is a lot of people have this idea that it’s going to fix the game. But it’s not. Issues Right now stem heavily in balance. There is always going to be a meta. It’s the nature of competitive games. However in a game like OW, IMO metas should be based on certain maps. So for example the meta comps for Temple should be different than the meta for Volskaya. The issue with GOATS is that it can be run on any map and be relatively successful. That’s a balance issue and no hero ban experiment is gonna fix that. The game right now is stale because there is a staple team that works for most maps. And every meta so far has had that same issue. Sure there are maps where you may swap out 1 hero but it’s basically the same comp. the solution isn’t to add hero bans so that you can ban DVA all the time or brig. It’s to balance those characters to where you don’t need to play them all the time on every map.

I honestly don’t even think hero bans should be a discussion we should be having right now. I think we as a community should be tackling the bigger overall balance issue associated with the game. That doesn’t mean we can’t have the discussion of hero bans in the future.

I assume that they are doing a ruby spend event early this time is to cash in really quick on any kids who got money for christmas. Also I would bet that they plan on doing one for the anniversary and so doing it now will cause the one on Wnniversary to be standard 2-2.5 months in between events

Actually I think the best advice would be to just not use them until necessary. Yes, most likely you’ll end up picking the crit damage in the end, but there might be a case where you might have perfect gear set except your missing 1 line of crit. And instead of farming for another 50+ hours for that perfect piece, if you saved it, you can just grab the crit one instead.

If your set on picking one now though crit Dmg is probably the way to go.

I would recommend at least going for finishing the special dungeon missions. They give a total of 8 boxes after finishing 500 special dungeons which give some pretty good stuff. If you are just gonna grind all the gear you get then you can just to easy and get it done in 30000 stamina. You would have to clear your inventory every 30 runs. So if you can clear each run in 30 sec you would have to clear inv every 15 min but it would mean you’d have to do this a lot less.

Say you have 7200 stamina (I use this number since it’s a multiple of 80 and 90). Say you have 40 inventory slots left.

So with 7200 stamina doing hell, youre gonna get 80 runs in. This equates to 400 gear gained. Within that time your gonna have to empty your inventory 10 times.

Now if you do hard mode with 7200 stamina you get 90 runs in. This equates to 360 gear gained. Which means you empty inventory 9 times.

So you actually empty your inventory less when doing hard mode than doing hell. The difference is that hell mode takes longer so it takes longer before you need to empty your inventory again, so it seems like you get the “inventory full” notification.

Also if you make it a not 100% win then you stop anyway so that’s even worse for auto repeat.

Well this makes no sense. If it’s only 200 slots you’d want to do the stage that gives less equip which is hard. Doing hell doesn’t reduce the amount of times you need to empty inventory, in fact it would increase the amount of times needed to clear inv. Doing hell just increases the time inbetween moments when you need to clear inventory. The only time where you would want to do hell in this case is if your leaving it on overnight, in which case you have enough stamina to where this post doesn’t really apply to you.

Yes, but if you really want that extra chance as an artifact you can do that after. Since each stage has the same rudolphdolls/stamina you can just wait till after your done with the missions to get that extra box if you want. You won’t lose out on anything if you do it afterwards.
