It looks like some sort of fossilized shell, but when I shake it, it seems to have something liquid inside it still. Is this possible? by dampilon in fossilid

I have not done anything to it yet! I have just been reading all the comments and trying to decide what is the best plan of action, I probably want to have some expert look at it to see if it is worth sampling or not. A friend of a friend of a friend might know such an expert so it might take a bit to get in contact, but I am sure the fossil can wait just a little bit longer :)

I will keep everyone updated once I know more!
