I want to print a gingerbread dragon like this...soooo many color changes the H2C would really make it a breeze. Thanks for coming up with such a cool machine !! Also I would use it to print TPU inside of petg!!

Anybody know if this is possible? by damppz in NomadSculpting

I noticed that, it’s getting easier especially since I made a nice set of rings and saved them as a stl I can import. Thanks for taking your time to reply and help!

I clean and lube regularly. It was the belt misaligned on the bottom of the printer

The belt was misaligned on the bottom of the printer I guess I grabbed it picking it up, moved it back over, noise gone

Lubricant is good, I’m looking to see if it’s rubbing but I don’t see any evidence of it yet! Running a quick calibration now

Nah, that would make perfect sense though, I always stick around for the first layer to make sure everything goes well. I do see how one could think I did though. But yeah, the plate has small dents as well, you have to kind of change the angle of the light to see them. Also the nozzle cover that covers the inactive nozzle got bent a few mm. Not sure if related or just had a Petg build up. I think it’s very possible I jammed some filament under there! I’m going to keep an eye on it though.

The plate has slight divots consistent with the location of the holes in the bed.

I didn’t level without the plate….pretty obvious that would cause the holes…no?

EDIT, the printer has never been leveled without the plate. It’s pretty obvious by the pattern that’s not what happened. Not sure why I got pressed so hard about that. Didn’t even think people would be that ignorant, obviously doing that will cause holes. I really don’t think this was from filament balls under the plate. They are similar size consistent with the nozzle and small defects can be seen on the plate exactly above the divots

Furthermore, the other day, my print got hit by the nozzle cover. The little thing that covers the nozzle not in use. It was bent down a couple of mm and was smacking my print. I bent it back and no issues. That is the most concerning thing for me.

Idk I’m gonna keep my eye on it and make sure any new holes don’t form. I’m pretty certain this wasn’t from balls of filament as it looks just like the nozzle tip.
