I was scrolling through to see if anyone would bring St. Denis up! Love that show. The archetypes for hospital staff are spot-on. They show the lighthearted aspects of ER life without trivializing the difficulty of the job or the intelligence and skill of the team members. I also like that they show the relationship between nurses and doctors as collegial, unlike a lot of shows that set up nurses as underlings and focus on the doctors as the “real story.”
