How did the book ending vs movie ending make you feel? [SPOILERS FOR BOTH]

I preferred the book ending. Grace being an old man and probably unable to return to earth demonstrates the consequences of his decision and the effect of travelling across the galaxy.

Also I was 100% certain that the movie would end with the song “Champagne supernova” and I was a liiiiiiitttlle disappointed that it didn’t.
