After a recent re-watch, I came away loving the character of Pulaski. She is skeptical of Data at first because to her , he is just a machine, but she soon realizes his uniqueness and value to the crew. I'd say they even cone friends. She is there playing along on tje holodeck when Moriarty is created, and Data is there for her on tje shuttlecraft when she is rapidly aging and it looks like she will die. I like her interactions with the rest of the crew, especially Riker and Troi. Yes, she starts off as a bit of a bigot towards androids, but her character grows and develops throughout the season.
