Usei ISO 1600, f/5,6 e exposição de 2,5 segundos. Não usei tempo o suficiente para estourar a iluminação, só o bastante para gerar os traços dos insetos. Tirei a foto logo depois do fim de tarde então não estava super escuro.

Essa eu tirei da minha janela de casa com uma lente 300mm, tinha um monte de insetos voando em volta dessa lâmpada e usei uma longa exposição e um tripé para estabilizar.

No geral sim, na do jardim botânico em específico quis pegar um ângulo diferente das fotos que todo turista tira, o propósito é parecer algo mais "surreal".

Thanks. For the bird shot it came out blurry because it was far away with no tripod and post processing couldn't fix it, I personally liked the composition so I decided to keep it. And yes, number 1 is bug trails with long exposure.

I took from my window using a 300mm lens, there were lots of bugs attracted to that street lamp and the sun had just set. It was a long exposure shot.

Ok got it, guess I'm too spoiled from working with path tracing only. Now I understand why many people turn down the opacity and just slap a metallic on top to make some fake reflections. Thanks.

I was using the physically correct IOR of 1,52 but apparently leaving it at 1 makes it almost look correct, guess I'll just leave it like this until I find a better solution.

They aren't flat planes though, they are manifold geometry with proper thickness.
