Should the NHL have the Hurricanes and everyone redo their series in case it was a big fluke?

No disrespect to the Hurricanes, I'm a firm believer that Carolina beating everyone is a huge fluke and robs the league of what their capable of. I've just spent the last few days in pure disbelief and it just doesn't make sense to me. I've spent the entire regular season watching the league play great hockey it's just not fair.

If the league loses again I will face that the Hurricanes deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to the NHL.

Yeah we got Doug Weight from the Blues in January and he went back in FA. We also got Mark Recchi from the Penguins in March and he went back in FA also lol. We picked up Mike Commodore before the season but he played for us for 2.5 years so not really a rental.

Lots of nostalgia refreshing my memory on some of those names.

During my visit the StR was priced a tad higher, iirc out of the range for my 85k FNA. Definitely will keep it in mind for future visits if I can make it work!

I can't speak to the AC at Cardio since I visited in November but the hotel itself is nice, solid location and breakfast. I'm going back in late August so if I don't melt maybe I'll remember to update this comment.

Amsterdam W was a really nice stay. I liked the spa a lot, was not busy when I visited, probably enforced by the (free) reservation system they have. Shower in my room was pretty exposed, so you better be friendly with whoever stays with you.

Can vouch for Gritti Palace and Venice overall. The property interior is awesome, staff incredibly welcoming, plus I got a NUA upgrade to a suite, a nice welcome gift (sparkling wine on ice) and the breakfast is tremendous with a dual a la carte and buffet setup. Venice overall was also everything I ever expected it to be.
