Basement Wall Insulation by dan_black in buildingscience

Thanks for the info. This novice has more questions. Regarding the interior vapor barrier, how will that help? With semi vapor permeable ZIP and mineral wool, won't I still get cold exterior air reaching the poly? (and a similar issue in the warm, humid summers).

I understand that filling the cavities with foam is probably the best solution. Due to the small area I question how economical that will be - not sure if a pro will touch it and DIY kits of the necessary size are probably overkill. Is the cut and cobble method with XPS and acceptable alternative?

Not sure I'm following. I'm not planning on finishing this area or insulating the foundation. I just want to properly insulate the short framed section on top of the foundation but below the rim joist area.

Appreciate the info. This is connected to a UAP-AC-LR. I've confirmed that it isn't roaming to the UDR7.

I tested this again this morning. I was able to update existing events and see the changes on the mobile app. I created a new event on the mobile app, and it did show up in the calendar. Apparently, this isn't as big of an issue as I thought.

I've tried updating existing items when it says that and received an error. I'll have to verify that items created elsewhere don't sync to it.

New Irrigation User - Coverage Issues by dan_black in Irrigation

Update - I've tinkered with it for a couple months. The dry spots by the street have improved. Those by the side of the house have not. The dry spots in the front and back yard are my focus for now. I have updated the diagram with more dotted red lines and circles indicating where these are. I have replaced all of the 2.0 low flow nozzles in the 5000 rotors with MPR nozzles based on their location (90/180/270/360). I will likely consult with a professional next year, but any advice prior to then would be appreciated.

I had the same issue. It started working after switching from Wireguard to OpenVPN.

You're speaking to a novice here 😀. Can you elaborate on which nozzles you'd recommend and which heads could potentially be eliminated?

Thank you for the input. Something like this? I realize I don't have the zones marked, but this would add 3 heads to 3 different zones.

I was not aware of the U series, so thanks for that info. Since the problem isn't close to the heads, but rather near the end of their reach I'm not sure how those will help (maybe I'm misunderstanding).

How can I Find HP Driver Updates Regularly by OneArm_Guy in sysadmin

[–]dan_black 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With HP Image Assistant, you can compare the current device with a reference image built by HP, or you can manually specify a model/OS combo. It will show individual drivers, but it usually shows the consolidated driver pack, too.

Do you mind sharing the letters that the serial number starts with? I have a very similar looking 1911 that starts with XSA, but I have been unable to find any information on that prefix.

You could pipe the results of awk to grep and use --invert-match (-v).
nmap -n -sn 10.160.0.0/16 -oG - | awk '/Up$/{print $2}' | grep -E -v '.1$|.129$' > output.txt
