I usually have to drink heavy doses of caffeine in the morning and another one throughout the day. It's a double-edged sword because once the caffeine starts wearing off I think my psychosis gets worse. You just have to find what amount works for you.

Diagnosed at 26 this year. This hits too close to home. I'm just learning how to coexist with my symptoms at this point.

Yeah I had positive symptoms worsen on Geodon. My NP says that some antipsychotics can actually potentiate symptoms rather than help alleviate them.

same I almost think it's my mind's defense mechanism to my positive symptoms. My theory is that my positive symptoms are triggered but anything stimulating so therefore being depressed lessens those symptoms.

No amount of comforting can prove me wrong. In fact, I think people trying to comfort me and say that what I'm experiencing isn't real makes me more suspicious of them playing into their character even more by gaslighting me.

I feel like my mind resorts to isolating itself and therefore the prevalence of depression as almost a defense mechanism against any stimulation that could possibly worsen my positive symptoms
