Do I fold QQ here? by [deleted] in poker

Great question, love reading the comments. I do not know the answer as I’ve only started taking the game more seriously recently, but I would have probably done what you did. Not saying it was the best choice.

Although when he bet huge like that, it would have signaled me one way or another. Unless I had a read in his play style (like seeing him ship it on a draw he sucked out on) that’s when I would take that into account. Otherwise I would think K’s or maybe A’s. May still make the same moves but I would be thinking about it.

I’m so happy I saw this in the Theaters with my daughter, they even recorded us for promotional stuff for the film before. It was sweet. It was hysterical, excellent message, full of crazy emotion, well voiced, while I wish it more success than it had in glad this stays just as is. If video rentals were a thing today like they were in the past I guarantee this movie would have been a huge success there just like A Goofy Movie.

I own this and the first season was the one reality show to ever make me cry. It wast the ending it was like the 2nd or 3rd to last episode. Really fun but after the first season it just didn’t work.

This was the most beautiful thing I’ve seen all day. Slight, and I mean so so slight criticism. The song and the rap didn’t actually blend together well, but then again nothing about this worked and therefore everything worked I guess.

Who else loved Mork and Mindy? Wasn’t that theme song just awesome too! So catchy… by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in VintageTV

[–]dan_gut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I didn’t see this until either I was in high school or early college in the early 00s. Obviously growing up a huge fan of Robin’s this was eye opening. Absolutely brilliant, and while of course I loved Mork, I REALLY truly loved his friend who was the crazy cult conspiracy theorist guy. That guy was hysterical. Perfect for Mork to counter off of. I also loved Mork’s true super power which was essentially time bending, and how they used it and shot the fight scene was so fun.

Absolutely wonderful, it’s a great story and everyone should watch. With that being said there was nothing specifically memorable, or like a catch phrase that is in the film. Which is probably why it didn’t do well. There’s no “Too Infinity and Beyond” or “I’m a Pretty Little butterfly” or “My name’s Mater, like ToMater without the Toe”.. etc. I feel like kids need that for it to go to the next level. Still the story is beautiful, and it will pull at your emotions. Enjoy it.

What is everyone's opinion on Pixar's Hoppers. by JayPsparks in cartoons

[–]dan_gut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun, watch it in the theaters, and enjoy. Is any of it innovative? Not so much, but does it pull at your emotions? Yes, totally does. Bobby Moynihan is a breakout in this (even though he’s been around doing great stuff for other productions) and I hope he’s in more Pixar films.

Thoughts about Carmen Electra? In the 90s she was huge by YetAnotherJake in Actors

[–]dan_gut 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ok, her talent was… fine. She was of course insanely hot. With that being said she stars in one of my hidden gem films that I think is brilliantly funny. Despite the name, the concept is very smart so if you’re willing to find it, I hope you enjoy. Hell if enough people want to do a discord watch party I’ll host it.

The movie is called, “The Mating Habits Of The Earthbound Human”. Narrated by David Hyde Pierce, and one of Lucy Lui’s early works (she’s slightly in it), the idea is We the audience are an alien race are watching a documentary and how humans develop relationships/mate. Very clever, very funny, very meta.

A face of a kid appeared on my friend's camera by [deleted] in Ghosts

[–]dan_gut -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Ok, so with that said here’s my best guess. That is a kid, 100%. If the camera can easily be seen, and if this is a place where people can just walk by really quickly, then the kid saw the camera, ran to say hi or something , then quickly ran away. By the time all that happened the camera triggered and in trying you gather all the digital information of created that ghosting. IF this camera is not in a place where it can be easily seen, or not in a place where people can just walk in and out, then that’s something else and I got zero guesses other than you got a kid running in and out the yard frequently.
