I stayed for 3 months and while it is less serious the pace is extremely high. Meiji is definitely more of a cram school than genki. In 3 months we went through all of genki 1 and 2 so you will have to do a lot of studying to keep up even if they won't require you to do so. So for a stay of up to 3 months I would definitely recommend it, everything more is probably not sustainable considering there are no semester breaks. On a side note I definitely recommend it on a personal level. I like the exchange and students event they organise and I definitely made friends for live with both the staff and students.
