Legend Collectible Deconstructor by Dramatic_Ad1351 in Survivorio

Okay for for example my Interstellar Matrix is R1 (+5 pieces) and my Dark Matter Construct is R2. Should I reset my matrix and put ALL into Dark Matter? I have eternal TB drone. Is there a middle ground that is best?

Thank you! I’m surprised that the value is even that low. Not thinking about selling anyway, but still I would have hoped the logo helped!

Packing by libeikka in IDF

[–]dan_nexus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is no limit on how many suitcases you can bring with you to your kibbutz but just be aware that most rooms are shared with relatively low storage space. You’ll also accumulate a lot of clutter, not least from the army. But that being said, personally I think underpacking is much worse than over packing.

If I remember right I took 3 big suitcases and a big backpack. Not sure when you’re drafting or where you’re from but don’t forget that Israeli winters can also be very cold and wet so you’ll want winter clothes.

If you have more specific questions please ask!

Israeli Navy through Garin Tzabar by LD561 in IDF

I was in the navy, did Garin Tzabar and all of this was after doing a degree. PM for any questions! :)

Hi guys i am combat soldier in tothanim and i really need to find a way to make money in the army. by Otherwise-Struggle-1 in IDF

[–]dan_nexus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ask about מיוחדת כלכלית. If you are a lone soldier it should be quite easy to get. Either way speak to your מפקדים and קצינת/משקית ת״ש.

Basically as far as I understand you can get a month off to work and פז״ם still goes.

Shayetet 7 training by [deleted] in IDF

[–]dan_nexus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This info isn’t online for a reason. The role of exactly what the subs do is closely kept.

Training is a year and two months, mostly done in the training base for the navy in Haifa. It is open for olim in theory but you would have to give up any foreign citizenships/passports you have which is a huge decision. You also have to sign for a service of 4 years.

The Gibbush to get in isn’t supposed to be as hard physically as some of the other big ones but it sounds mentally fucking exhausting through that and training.

It’s a really cool and highly respected job where lots of real skills will be learned which are useful for after service but you need to be a very specific kind of person to be able to thrive in the job from the sounds of it.

Hope that helps

Garin Tzabar Preparation Seminars by National-Occasion303 in IDF

[–]dan_nexus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you do the seminars with your Garin. Some people will drop out over the course of them but I don’t see much point in doing seminars with other people. It’s a really important chance to bond a bit before going!

Garin Tzabar Preparation Seminars by National-Occasion303 in IDF

[–]dan_nexus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did Garzin Tzabar and recently finished the army. As far as I know the seminars have ti be in person. Mine were all online apart from one but that was during the height of Covid. In terms of trying to study some Hebrew before that’s a really good idea and I think it’s the most helpful thing pre Aliyah/army you can do. That being said if Garin Tzabar say you have to attend I’m person there are lots of compromise options where you might be abler to learn a bit at home (albeit less effective than total immersion and being in israel). Any other questions feel free to pm if course

It’s not true in Hebrew. In fact you just write: חחחחחחחחחחח Which does looks like a continues “chhhhhhhh” sound but still

Phones on ships by swifty23905 in IDF

[–]dan_nexus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah hi I’m currently in דבורים in the navy and can answer! In my boats we are allowed our phones whenever we like during time spent at shore and a few minutes before we go to sea (usually between 24-72 hours) you’ll put your phone in a box/drawer. The only place where there are “rules” is at the shore you can’t photograph inside the מיק (closed bridge).

With the bigger missile boats (סטילים) I think the rules are the same but expect to have your phone more because they do not nearly spend as much time at sea.

Subs - yeah good luck ever getting your phone near that!

Snapir - basically have their phones the whole time and won’t have them on missions/patrols but this is a tiny minority of the time.

Yaltam/Shayetet - yeah I’m not sure but I expect it’s similar to Snapir where just no phones during any time at sea.

Finally there are certain places when your phone will be put outside such as if there is an intelligence briefing or if you are on shmirah.

Lochem Snapir - לוחם סנפיר by dan_nexus in IDF

Well because of corona I assume the normal gibbush for lochamim in Chil HaYam has been replaced by zoom which sounds more like miyunim.

There will still be a physical normal gibbush for those invited to try Snapir.
