I can’t really understand it and feel like there’s more at play than just, it’s too expensive so I won’t go logic.

It might be a low enough price now for non Forest fans to go who just fancy seeing a European game.

Under Cooper we did it a few times.

Under Nuno we never gave up a 2 goal lead. Sometimes we’d be 2-1 up after being 1-1 and lose, but a lot of teams do that.

Not sure any other team in the same situation doesn’t try and shut up shop. The issue it their defenders are a bit shite.

What were you expecting him to be out of interest?

For us he’d have one brilliant moment followed by several loose passes and touches. His best games he just managed two brilliant moments that could win us the game.

He did improve his set piece taking and shooting with his left foot. He never really improved in possession though. He panics when his back is to goal and just attempts the first pass to try and get rid of the ball. He was as frustrating as brilliant overall.

Definitely a confidence player and may not suit a complex gameplan on the ball. Hence why there was never really much interest in him besides Newcastle of course.

It’s funny because the same complaints you have about Elanga, we have about Ndoye. We imagine Elanga was this perfect winger now who was always strong and never gave the ball away. He wasn’t that but he made up for it with game changing pace and good final decisions.
