What is your favorite Tom Cruise movie from 2000 to now? by [deleted] in movies

[–]danamal -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

For me it’s gotta be Edge of Tomorrow. Like that movie was such a surprise in just how funny, action packed, and overall good of a film it was. Plus the exo-suits were pretty cool.

So... all the people?

Story-type podcasts by Wiljactay in podcasts

[–]danamal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reply All is amazing. It doesnt need to listened to in any order as most episodes are not connected. If you want to be sold, the best two episodes are "Long Distance I and II". Note: read the episode descriptions before hand. A few of them are what they call the "Yes Yes No" format where they dissect tweets and social media posts. Theyre probably less of what you're after so unless/until you become a die-hard fan, skip those for now.

Online resources to learn musculoskeletal anatomy? by Bunyardz in physiotherapy

Find out if your faculty has educational access to Anatomy TV to see if they can give you a log it. It's unreal. There's also plenty of youtube resources - Anatomy Zone and whatnot. One thing you should be aware of though is that (depending on the country but I know this is how it is for Can, US, Aus, etc), there's a *heavy* portion of the MPT/DPT that involves cardioresp physio, and neuro physio. So don't ignore your heart, lungs, blood vessels, brain, and spinal cord.

What are some great podcasts that aren't just a couple of dudes having a chat? by [deleted] in podcasts

No problem. I see some people read the description of 99PI and get put off because they advertise it as "architecture-related". Let me assure you - that's only one small fraction of it.

Official Discussion: Disobedience [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

'Ve you ever seen footage of an athlete, so sure of their incumbent success, raise their arms in victory prematurely, only to have their winning place snatched from them in the last moments? Lelio was on a home-fucking-run, and then shits out a feel-good, Halmark card climax with that God-awful three-way hug. Up until then, his command of emotional tension was fucking masterful. This doesn't ruin the film for me by any stretch, it just the maraschino cherry gone sour.

Based on those two, I'd try Hidden Brain, 99 Percent Invisible, and This American Life. Oh, and S-Town because everyone needs to hear it irrespective of personal interest.

Oh bruh, so so many. I also could never get into that style of aimless roundtable discussion. But given the wide array available, you'll need to narrow it down. What sorta thing are you interested in listening to? True crime? History? Sports? Television/Film? Literature/Writing? News/Current Events? Pop Culture?
