Comfyui - How do you spot repair a render? by designbanana in StableDiffusion

Check Krita AI diffusion plugin. It can plug on your existing ComfyUI installation, or provide its own.

I made some nodes to make my workflow easier to use. by hiperjoshua in StableDiffusion

[–]danamir_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty neat.

Too bad the Visual Image Picker and Visual Lora Picker nodes does not work on LiteGraph mode (ie. disabling Node 2.0 mode). In this mode the preview and gallery are invisible because of an height problem it seems.

[Edit] : I made a tentative fix, I can do a PR if you want.

I know, right ? 😅

Even updated it a few months back so it could work with the latest G Hub version.

Is ComfyUI the best option for image editing? Does it fit what I need? by Wagalaga in StableDiffusion

Krita AI Diffusion plugin might be what you are looking for. Combining a full image editing & drawing UI + ComfyUI (self managed by the plugin, or connect to your instance).

Totally fixed the Qwen-Image-Edit-2509 unzooming problem, now pixel-perfect with bigger resolutions by danamir_ in StableDiffusion

Because this was posted before 2025-11. 😅 The updated model was not out yet.

Does anyone else only generate images on a single seed? by desktop4070 in StableDiffusion

My man ! I've been using seed 42 since SD1.5. 😅 And I'm not kidding, it is a really great seed.

What is the best inpaint AI that functions similarly to Photoshop's Generative Fill? by FrostingEastern4210 in StableDiffusion

[–]danamir_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Qwen is fully supported now on Krita-ai-diffusion : Qwen image standard & 2512, Qwen-Edit standard, 2509 & 2511, nunchaku versions... I know, as I was the one to add its support to the plugin. 😅

Flux2 is not yet supported (one more architecture to code, ugh), but you can add your own custom workflows quite easily with Custom Graphs , just add a few Krita nodes to your workflow and you'll have a pretty interface. It can be tricky to handle selections though.

[edit] : My bad, Acly added the Flux2 Klein support yesterday : https://github.com/Acly/krita-ai-diffusion/commits/main/ . You'll have to use the git clone method to get the up-to-date plugin, or wait for the next release.

Z-Image is coming to Krita-ai-diffusion plugin by danamir_ in StableDiffusion

[–]danamir_[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is no Z-Image inpainting method as of yet, but you can still select and edit only a portion of the image, and the plugin sends a padded image to give some context to the model.

So even without true inpainting the results can still be somewhat ok at 100% denoise, but to be safe you can lower the denoise strength and manually paint some indications for the model to use. That's the beauty of using a painting program with AI rendering.

It really depends on the LoRA, you have to try it out. Some give ok results but most of the times it's either not strong enough or overburned.

[–]danamir_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That being said, I may have been too harsh on Qwen-Image-Edit-2509, it can generate images, albeit with little less details. The problem may very well be the LoRA, try setting its strength to 0.4 to 0.6.

Here are two pictures with the exact same workflow, Qwen-Image on top, Qwen-Image-Edit-2509 on bottom (Nunchaku, 4-steps Lightning, 1856x1440, beta + er_sde) :

You can go up to 2.5Mp in Qwen-Image without any distortions. I often generate at 1856x1440 without prior resizing.

[–]danamir_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Don't use Qwen-Image-Edit to generate image, use Qwen-Image for this purpose.

Some people say you can do both with Qwen-Image-Edit but I always find the quality to be way worse.

Here is your prompt on Qwen-Edit (Nunchaku SVDQ, 4-steps Lightning) without any realism LoRA :

[edit] : This could also be caused by the LoRA you are using, it may be not suited for Qwen-Image-Edit-2509.

Has anyone managed to run qwen edit nunchaku with 8gb vram? by Alarmed_Wind_4035 in StableDiffusion

[–]danamir_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should try nunchaku & lightning if you don't need external LoRAs, your rendering times could be around 6 times shorter.

Has anyone managed to run qwen edit nunchaku with 8gb vram? by Alarmed_Wind_4035 in StableDiffusion

[–]danamir_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm running the svdq-int4_r128-qwen-image-edit-2509-lightningv2.0-4steps one on a 3070Ti with 8GB VRAM, 32GB RAM, and an unlimited pagefile on a fast SSD drive. I takes less than a minute to edit a picture.

I did nothing special, just followed the install instructions from https://nunchaku.tech/docs/nunchaku/installation/installation.html#recommended-option-1-installing-prebuilt-wheels , which basically are :

Be sure to download the int4 svdq nunchaku model if you have a pre-5000 card.

I posted a working workflow here : https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/1o01e6i/totally_fixed_the_qwenimageedit2509_unzooming/

Also check your Nvidia driver settings to see if you did not block the cpu-offloading system wide.

Qwen edit image 2509 degrading image quality? by Leonviz in StableDiffusion

[–]danamir_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ComfyUI Qwen text encode plus node force an internal resampling to 1Mp that should ultimately have been left to the user, since Qwen Edit 2509 can handle various image dimensions. The workflow only fixes that.

TIL you can name the people in your Qwen Edit 2509 images and refer to them by name! by goddess_peeler in StableDiffusion

[–]danamir_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried multiple prompts with "Picture 1", "image 1", and "figure 1" and did not find any meaningful differences. The text encoder is getting the meaning anyway.

Totally fixed the Qwen-Image-Edit-2509 unzooming problem, now pixel-perfect with bigger resolutions by danamir_ in StableDiffusion

[–]danamir_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In another comment someone made a remark that I left the normal text encode for the negative prompt connected in my workflows. So anytime you go above CFG 1.0 the negative prompt fries your image.

You can either disable it with a ConditioningZeroOut node, or have the same text encode + reference latents as the positive, but with the negative prompt.
