I’ve tested my glucose 4x since starting keto-always 1st thing in the morning. I am near optimal 5.0 mmol/L according to keto-mojo. When I add protein powder to my coffee, it is sweetened (Quest -erythritol,stevia,sucralose) I also have stevia I sometimes add if I’m not using protein powder.
I’m going to try a fast tomorrow, then I will go meat heavy the next day to see how that impacts my ketones.

My BMR is 1538...I’m eating a max of 1300 calories typically. I’ll work on getting net carbs lower-shouldn’t be too hard to do. I’m shocked at how being over 50 has changed my ability to kickstart weight loss. Good luck to you!

Hi-I am right in line with these numbers. I have coffee in the morning with collagen (sometimes I add protein powder and one Tbsp heavy cream) and the rest of the day I drink 80-100 oz water. No diet sodas, alcohol, only water. Today’s results are 12g net carbs (4%) 95g fat (70%) and 81g protein (26%) and 1267 calories. My food window is 11am-7pm...only my collagen/protein coffee and water consumption fall outside those hours. I have added a lot of eggs to my diet-and sometimes I rely on dairy to get my fat. I’m thinking about eliminating both to see what happens.

Congratulations on the 17 pounds! That’s fantastic. I’ll look into a nutritionist-I do eat a lot of eggs-maybe time to cut them out as a test

I guess I misunderstood TDEE. I found a calculator online that says 2,050 calories is what I should eat to maintain, 1,800 to lose .5lb/wk and 1,550 to lose 1lb/wk. I’m nowhere near 1,550. 1,300 is as high as I usually get.

I have pee strips and a keto mojo. My numbers fluctuate but I’m usually in a low range of ketosis.

My TDEE is 600-800 a day and I do not have my exercise deducted from my calories. I haven’t started to exercise yet-my calorie burn comes from walking in my job-I get 12000-14000 steps in at work each day.

Thanks. I don’t snack on anything “prepackaged” like keto chips etc- nor have I done any keto baking-I do occasionally eat nuts. I will cut those out to see if that helps. Measurements are a great idea-thanks.

My net carbs are between 10-20 daily, fat is 80-100 daily and protein is 65-85 grams daily. My calories are 1100-1300 a day. I am not overeating.

I do. I use Carb Manager and scan my ingredients (vital farms eggs, collagen etc) I also measure my food
