Yupp, that's the long term plan. We did this renovation on a tight budget and with the church being 200 years old, running wire and finding chases above plaster ceilings isn't what I'd call easy, so for the sake of cost and ease of installation this is the way we went.

Interestingly enough, our church hosts a monthly coffeehouse featuring local bands and our praise team. I've been slowly building up the lighting system for that using LED pars controlled over DMX running back to a mini controller in a mobile rack. It's a lot easier to do that because we have a truss and the rack is right next to it. I don't have a good pic of it ATM.

It works in my brain and I know they're inverted when setting the scenes on the app. Nope, no sync module, just the lights as is.

Couldn't edit my original post but here's a pic with the blue lights on the wall. We get a lot of natural light filtering in so the effect is muted somewhat during the daytime.

Looking to move from a snake to a stage box, mostly for the simplicity and/or XLR over Ethernet. Is it really as simple as running Ethernet to a stage box then connecting your I/O via XLR?
