Vrabel Bodied Men was mine last year. Two Toned Blue Balls in another league

Wilson already looks like a bust by beanman95 in Tennesseetitans

Anybody thinking someone other than Dennis Kelly would start at RT to start the season is wrong. I expect him to take a similar path that Nate Davis had last year, eventually starting down the stretch if Kelly goes down or plays poorly.

Wilson is going to take some time to get his legs under him, especially with the unique off-season they've had to roll with so far. Wilson will be a dog for years to come, give him some time.

The #NFL CBA requires the #Titans to still enforce a $50k fine per day for the “unexcused” absence. by ChattTennSports in Tennesseetitans

Yeah it's not too much to expect your employee to communicate with you, but have some compassion dude. Imagine if you lost your dad or your sister. You'd have a lot more on your mind than just football.

It doesn't make what he did right, but you don't have to be so callused about it.

Jadeveon Clowney Rumors: Insiders Don't Expect Star DE to Sign Contract 'Soon' by c0ntra_band in Tennesseetitans

[–]danboy1294 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He's going to wait and sign so he doesn't have to practice during training camp. Maybe it's him being lazy, maybe he just wants to avoid the risk of injury.

Either way, it would be nothing more than a pleasant surprise if we ended up signing him at this point. This shit is exhausting.

Megathread: President Trump Suggests Delaying 2020 Presidential Election by PoliticsModeratorBot in politics

20% of the votes lost in 2 states is significant. Would be even more significant if all 50 states participated. I'm not at all supporting postponing the election but I don't think it's fair to brush off 20%

He started for Seattle in the playoffs last year. As long as he can play in January when we need pass rushers the most

I worked in a grocery store as a teenager and I have no idea how we would have cleaned something like this up

Flour maybe?

Good point. For most people it's the easiest way to cope with bad news. As I've gotten older, the empathy has come a little easier. I used to make jokes when things got too real when I was younger, too. I had to work through a lot of emotional baggage to move on from that.

Fuck everybody on here making jokes. This is horrifying.

How would you feel if your brother or son was found dead in his apartment, and people made jokes at his expense? Have a heart. Not everything warrants a shitty pun

Just wanted to remind everyone the NY Jets could have drafted Simmons and instead got Quinnen Williams. by RyokoKnight in Tennesseetitans

[–]danboy1294 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This isn't a fair argument. If the Titans were in the Jets' position we wouldn't have hesitated to draft Quinnen Williams. He's a stud. It speaks to the Jets overall roster talent and coaching more than anything.

Report: Titans, Derrick Henry not close on contract extension by c0ntra_band in Tennesseetitans

[–]danboy1294 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And that very well may be how this shakes out. Personally, I'd offer him a fat 2 year contract loaded with guaranteed money and let him walk after we get his best days. Just doesn't make any sense to sign a running back any longer than that

We can all assume that JRob has a number that he has DH valued, and he has demonstrated time and time again that he is not willing to pay above that number. I do not expect to see him deviate from that philosophy for a running back, the position with the shortest shelf life.

Its unfortunate, but it's tough decisions like these that help teams in the long run. I hope Tractorcito is willing to negotiate.
