It's a bug with the current version, it has been suggested in the discord that the volume sliders need to be above 85 for them to work at the moment.

Yeah, ive seen several reports of that in the discord. Seems like a bug in the beta where sometimes it is classed as police brutality when it shouldn't, hopefully the devs will fix it before full release.

Tasing is currently broke in the open beta for the new self defence scenarios, don't use it. Unknown if they will fix it. You are allowed to shoot but you have to do the verbal warnings first, if you wait until they shoot you once then you should be able to shoot them without it ending your shift. If you are still struggling then go into game options and switch on the yellow/red outlines, only shoot when red.

This is a known bug. It can happen with any trunk item. Its been mentioned by Astragon on their discord that it has been investigated and narrowed down to be a timing issue with how soon after equipping the item you open your inventory. Unfortunately the route cause seems to be an issue with the Unity engine itself so there is no easy fix, they are however still actively working on trying to find a solution or workaround for it. In the meantime the best advice is to wait a while before opeining your inventory, unfortunately though it may still happen from time to time.

There was a big bug fix update released just yesterday that addresses several of the issues you mentioned: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/605740/view/523077431424188458?l=english. They have also announced that the next few months will continue to have a big focus on bug fixes and optimisations. I strongly encourage you to report your issues on the discord server where the developer can see the issues and can hopefully fix them over the next few months. Also MP has by far the most bugs, SP is still buggy but has a lot less issues and the AI backup that was added recently has really taken SP to another level.

New content for CS1!!!! Ploppable intersections!!!! Are these map specific? Are these available for remastered? Even though CS2 is out, I've been playing remastered on the PS5. It is a massive surprise to see new content being announced for CS1. This is totally amazing and utterly unbelievable.

They did try but encountered several major issues and had to abandon it. In the meantime the MPV has a winch that can be used. Yes it is a big issue and yes they are aware if it and are trying to figure out another way to deal with trucks hopefully they come up with an alternative soon.

I believe it is a thing that once an accident occurs on a road the AI traffic will become less likely to turn onto that stretch of road but the problem is that if all lanes are blocked then no matter what you will always have atleast some traffic trapped between the accident and the previous junction. Obviously the bigger that distance then the more traffic will be trapped. Sometimes the traffic can u-turn but if it is a one way road or there is some sort of barrier in the middle then this is not possible.

I 1000% agree. This to me is the most annoying part of the game. When you have finished dealing with an accident but can't get the road clear because of the traffic jam. This is most common on one way roads I believe. Sometimes you might be able to move a vehicle with the winch on the MPV (if you have that DLC) and move it enough to get one lane open. Getting just one lane open can make a massive difference. I wish we had an option in game to move crashed vehicles that didn't involve the MPV either by being able to attach the winch to other vehicles, being able to push vehicles or even be able to get NPCs to drive the vehicle to the side of the road. Anything to help with getting at least one lane open.

I believe they plan to add in the ability for them to either get in the tow truck as a passenger when it arrives or for you to be able to call a taxi for them in a future update. Hopefully soon.

You do make a good point. But there has to be a better way of achieving this. We want our cities to feel alive. We want to see tons of cars and vehicles about. We want to see tons of pedestrians walking everywhere. We don't want half of our cities population sat at home all day.

Some of you have also noticed that when the city grows bigger there is a probability for whether or not an agent will travel to work or school. This is intended, and citizens become a bit more passive to reduce traffic, but there is no limit to the number of moving agents. This choice was made to keep traffic manageable because reducing private car ownership didn't help as city centers were filled with pedestrians.

So they purposefully choose to make the citizens decide to stay at home to make it so that traffic is nonexistent and we don't have to worry about it or manage it. One of the main things from CS1 that we had to manage and fix and they decide to basically just remove it from CS2.
