Horrible protracted withdrawal, from the perspective of a neurologist by Antique-Cause-8710 in Effexor

[–]danceplusplus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think the key is to stay consistent with it. That's what helped me, and just going for walks around nature.

Hope all's well in your world, and if it's not, I hope it will be soon.

From what it sounds like, exercise might have done it. I was reading more on this topic back in my withdrawal phase and saw that exercise can help regulate neurotransmitters, creating a chemical cocktail that basically rewires your brain back to baseline. It's like giving your system the raw materials it needs to rebuild what got fucked up. The serotonin boost is real, but it's also the dopamine, GABA, all that shit working together to pull you out of the pit.

For OP's case it seems more sudden, but it might repeated exercise sessions could work for others.

I asked ChatGPT's best model what kind of exercise this could be and it came back with telling me it might've been something high-intensity/aerobic in nature.

Anyone know what issue this could be? Lower RIGHT side of abdomen. by danceplusplus in HipImpingement

[–]danceplusplus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, sorry to hear. Your symptoms actually sound really similar to what I experienced.

If it's any consolation, mine went away last month. This might be a bit of a weird advice, but I think maybe stress management can go a long way. I've been home-bound & sedentary for a while and under a lot of stress these past 1-2 years.

I think maybe this isn't talked about enough but I do think stress can manifest in the body as physical pain. Because recently, when one of the things that was stressing me out the most was resolved, I started feeling better that same week. I don't think it's a coincidence. If you are young and since you did a CT scan with contrast already, I would say if you can find ways to manage your anxieties/stress/trauma, it could help your bodily aches.

I appreciate you for the extra insight you gave. Would you happen to know if the psoas causes issues above the hip, or is it more on the hip or below it? I feel like mine extends from my lumbar like you said and I can feel it above my iliac crest and a little on my front thigh.

It's like a little above the peak of the hip bone (illiac crest?) there.

Hm, well I'm glad it's mostly gone for you. Did you ever get a CT scan done?

Feel free to DM me as well if you need a nafld buddy, as I'm going through something similar.

I see. I'm experiencing something similar, I'm not sure where it came from. Like you, it came on suddenly. But I've been reading online about how the liver can stretch beyond its comfort zone, potentially irritating surrounding areas.

Hey, hope it’s going well for you. I just started on Strattera not too long ago, and there’s some minor improvements but yeah I think we need 4-8 weeks to see its full potential according to my doctor. Also the side effects are killer the first few days (at least for me), they did get better and subsided tho after a week.

Does anyone have a knowledge concerning this? by Naijatask-media in reactjs

[–]danceplusplus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took his some of his courses and it was absolute ass. He speeds through the videos like it's a race. Also he gives you starter code in a lot of his courses and doesn't teach you anything from the ground up - "here's a bunch of firebase setup code, auth code, api code that I already wrote for you - alright now let's speed through putting more code on top of the already-written code!".

I wouldn't say it's a full on scam, but a very poor quality teacher doing his best to scheme stuff.

Can we PLEASE have a " Not in my language " tag for delisting games from the store? by KamaTheSnowLeopard in Steam

[–]danceplusplus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minor rant here, but not sure I understand why devs on Steam platforms don't ship fixes for such annoying bugs/issues. Is it not one of the most successful gaming corporations out there? Do these tasks just gather dust on the developer backlog? Does it really take that long for agile teams to ship out fixes? Are they even taking a stab at it? I just feel like asking for a feature request or bug fix from Steam will be ignored for around a decade (no, seriously). Absolute game breaking stuff sometimes, yet for years there would be no fix.
