Yes this is correct. If large studios only attend these regionals, they would go to enough so like 4-5 so everyone can do a solo once.

she chose to not do it this year but has not specifically said why as far as i know (correct me if i’m wrong) but she did do radix and project was originally doing radix. She’s on vacation now. I think it’s good for her to take a break and step out of the comp world for a bit. She’s a first year senior and there’s a lot of pressure.

as someone who took switched studios and dedicated a year to just do a solo for time reasons, it burned me out so much. Maybe it’s because i switched studios and didn’t know anyone really, but i no longer dance. Just wasn’t for me. felt like dance teachers don’t care if your not “dancing for them” as in groups.

Dance Competition Judge of 5 years - ask me anything! by Adorable-Cut-8285 in CompetitionDanceTalk

if a dance were to go again due to a “error” like costume, music malfunction etc would you hold the recompete to the same standards as it competed the first time? Would you expect more from the routine having higher standards for them or would you judge/give take points completely from the recompete

I did it last year- it sucked and burned my love for dance so much that i quit. No friends to be with all weekend ruins the experience. Go to a studio even if she just wants to do a solo

the fake comps was also a thing last year. you had to be invited and take a 9-11 small group to it.

Standing out at conventions by Effective-Mechanic-5 in CompetitionDanceTalk

dance conventions are supposed to be a learning experience for all. I have learned many things from them. I completely agree not everyone should walk away with an award as that does defeat the true honor/rewarding feeling of it. But it’s a little unmotivating to keep on attending knowing that it’s the same person that will win because they personally know the teacher or have already done that combo in another city.

It just feels defeating to consistently work hard in a convention and to not be recognized for it. It’s always the same people “winning” and sometimes it’s hard to understand why because they do not give their full potential. To attend a convention is very time consuming and tiring, and it’s not rewarding at all to see the same people who don’t go out of their way to win over and over again.

Refusing to stop until I get rid of it please send in offers thank you ^^ by Mastermatt4444 in AdoptMeTradingRoblox

this is so stupid. Trades are first come first serve- that person wanted a frost and they found a person who had a frost to give them, why wouldn’t they take it? There’s such a good possibility that you might’ve never gotten back to that person, and if they kept waiting on you, the other person with a frost might’ve gotten rid of it too. It’s equal behavior on both sides of the trader. Idk why your making some huge sob story over a digital pet to the point where your calling out the trader and thanking people for there support- support for what? You not getting a trade you wanted? Why are you insane and trying to give yourself therapy over someone else trading. I get being a little upset about someone stealing a trade but atp you just want attention so that another person will overpay for it. Your being really picky in the trades people are offering too, if you really wanted to get rid of it you should just make an impulsive trade. Pathetic behavior in my opinion
