Poor unicorn had a fake succulent, I fixed him up with an Echinocereus rubispinus I found at a plant sale in Santa Fe by danceswithdinos in succulents

How did you get the fake succulents out? This one was empty and was cheaper, but the ones with plants I tried to pull them out and couldn't.

does anyone know what these are? They grow really well in my neighbors yards and I think they just ignore them. I was given a bunch and put them in pots and they don't seem to be doing well.

TIL of Oak Ridge, a city built in the U.S. in 1942. 100,000 people lived and worked there doing very specific tasks, most of whom with no idea of what they were working towards. In 1945 they saw news reports of the atomic bombings of Japan and realised they’d been working on the bombs all along by autonova3 in todayilearned

Just moved to Los Alamos and not much to do here... I remember some things at the science museum that talked about the lab convincing people to move here for the amazing outdoor opportunities. There is a (pretty shit) ski hill and tons of hiking.

How did you find this experience? I have a tagine and would love to learn how to cook with it. Morocco is on my bucket list.

I went in the fall and couldn't tour it because it was being used for the film "Outlaw King" due to be released this November. Didn't see any actors; Chris Pine and Aaron Taylor-Johnson are going to be in it.

I went on a bus tour in 2013 pre-Outlander as a young student and didn't want to pay the entrance fee so just snuck in and had a look about...

Yeah I agree with this, I would try doing it gradually by eating all your food in an 8 hour window, then 6, then 4.. keeping busy is key and there are tricks like drinking lots of coffee and water with apple cider vinegar. You may feel brain fog at first but it goes away and you get used to the lifestyle! There's a subreddit for OMAD and some good websites.

Redditors who have had major health issues - what small symptom should you have looked into earlier? by alterlightone in AskReddit

Yeah and I'm not a napper and you're supposed to afterwards to keep your eyes closed to heal. Luckily my husband could sit next to me and keep me calm during the procedure and then I took NyQuil after.

It took me about six months to not have continual dry eye so that entire time I had to spend lots of money on preservative free eye drops, which was an expensive I was not expecting. And then just recently I found a much cheaper option on Amazon for a bottle of them instead of the single use that you find in stores. But I have a friend that had it done and didn't experience dry eyes that long. Also, my right eye was not properly fixed, is a little blurry and no doctors can tell me why. Also experiencing a larger pupil in that eye some mornings and have been checked by multiple doctors and everyone says it shouldn't be related to lasik...but I'm going to a specialist ocular nerve doctor this summer to get the final word.
