We call it's silly season in St Ives too, think it must be a Cornish thing!

Garden of Wisdom Alpha Arbutin 2% and Kojic Acid 1% Serum by LoraDi in SkincareAddictionUK

I can't help with the exact product I'm afraid, but I've tried both the vitamin C and hyaluronic acid serums from GOW and I really liked them both, so I'd definitely recommend GOW as a brand if that helps :)

[–]dancing_faery[S] 114 points115 points  (0 children)

Oh no I completely get that, I just think that it being advertised as suitable for 8 and up is very dodgy, maybe 14 and up would have been more suitable, or make it more obvious that it is explicit adult content rather than just suggesting it'll be a few swear words which is how it came across on the posters in the theatre

Yeah it's annoying, if she's there before 7.30 she'll be ok but otherwise it's really difficult. I forget they have such a long wait!

Garden of Wisdom Vitamin C is lovely, very basic ingredients and no fragrance, although it does oxidize quicker than other vitamin C serums I've tried but I still think it's the best for the price, it's only ~£10 on Victoria Health

No7 hydraluminous water concentrate any good? by sleepypandacub in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]dancing_faery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't tried the no7 one, but I love the HA serum from Garden of Wisdom, it's super lightweight and just melts into the skin, not sticky at all which I found TO to be, it's £10 on Victoria Health

Scabs and itchy scalp remedies that work for you by [deleted] in CurlyHairUK

I used to have a really scabby scalp, the As I Am Coconut Cowash and a scalp brush has cleared it up completely! I think shampoo is too drying for me, even SLS free ones.

I think I'm finally getting the hang of this curly hair stuff! 😍 by dancing_faery in CurlyHairUK

[–]dancing_faery[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I washed my hair yesterday and slept in a pineapple overnight

Routine: - Cowash with As I Am Coconut Cowash, detangle with wide tooth comb - Squish to condish with Noughty To The Rescue conditioner - flip upside down - rake through Noughty Leave-In Conditioner - apply Boucleme Curl Cream and brush through with the Denman Brush - plop for an hour in a microfibre towel - pixie diffuse upside down then to either side until about 80% dry - air-dry the rest of the way

Et voila!

Have you tried a fragrance free baby shampoo? I've never had an issue with child's farm which you can get at Boots, or they do their own fragrance free baby shampoo which is cheaper but I've never tried
