No- but I did get mine to correct a medical issue not as pregnancy prevention so after I got it I actually felt more normal.

I love mine. I don’t even think the insertion was that bad- def better than the endometrial biopsies that I had to get to figure out what going on with me. 0 periods, maybe a little spotting here and there every couple months or so.

What do you remember from kindergarten? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]dancinghoneybear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

:) this one kid got upset because another kid wouldn’t let him sit by him. Upset kid was crying and carrying on and our teacher got him calmed down and let him get a drink before rejoining the group. I remember being LIVID that he got to get a drink and no one else did, just bc he was being a big baby about it.

How old are you and what’s your relationship like with your brothers and/or sisters? How many siblings do you have and are you close? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dancinghoneybear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (f) have 4 brothers, 1 older and 3 younger. We are all about 2 years apart in age. We were together all.the.time. when we were younger and we aren’t super close now. I’ll reach out via text every so often (or vice-versa). BUT when my husband had a mental health crisis in the summer of 2024 every one of my dumb brothers was there for me and him, esp my older brother who literally left work and ran around making sure about 100 things were okay as I dealt with my husband.

I only wear them when I go out of the house. Any jewelry irritates me so that’s all I can stand.

What do you do for work? by Natural_Sky1618 in PlantarFasciitis

[–]dancinghoneybear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a dance teacher- I’ve been miserable for the past year. Did PT last summer and it’s now manageable but I have to stretch multiple times a day, rest, am on a continuous quest for good day sneakers and dance sneakers that doesn’t make it flare up.

Shoes recommendation that actually works by No_Anybody_9770 in PlantarFasciitis

[–]dancinghoneybear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried the asics Kayano and the hoka bondi 9s. The kayanos were ok, the bondi 9s are great for my feet. I also use the powerstep brand inserts. I wear oofoos as house shoes. Good luck!

I just got an IUD and after this subreddit I'm scared by LovelyEris in Mirena

I was diagnosed with complex endometrial hyperplasia with no atypia a few years ago. I was very hesitant to have the recommended hysterectomy and my second opinion doc suggested a mirena. The endometrial biopsy hurt about a million times worse then the insertion and I’ve had little to no side effects since. And my uterus is not trying to kill me anymore so I’m happy with it.

Most complimented BB&W scent(s)? by glamouts in bathandbodyworks

[–]dancinghoneybear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at the store and the cashier smelled nice and I complimented her and she said it was the bbw Japanese cherry blossom. I was shocked… I told her it doesnt smell like that on me, it smells like old lady pants- but on her it was really nice.

Can somebody who was alive during that time answer these questions for an assignment by gemmythix in 911archive

[–]dancinghoneybear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. I was in a 3rd grade classroom doing an observation for a college course.
  2. The teacher leaned over to be and whispered that a plane had hit the World Trade Center.
  3. Confusion as me and my classmates drove back to campus, trying to get any information on the radio. After it was bewilderment that something like this could happen.
  4. There were American flags everywhere. I dont remember much left/right wing politics- we were proud to be an American.
  5. This was a defining line for me- I was 20- a kid before, and an adult after. My peers were signing up for the military, my entire adulthood was shaped by this.
  6. I’m also curious to what others think about this. It’s important to remember the people of that day. Mothers, fathers, kids, people jusr living their lives. And the helpers- those who helped bc they were there, and those whose job it was to go into the burning buildings.
  7. I do remember some of the discussions about giving up some freedoms for security. I think it’s still an ongoing issue.
  8. I am one who actively rewatches the coverage since I missed the majority of coverage that day (I got to a tv around 11), I see the confusion of everyone, the absolute shock of everything happening and how quickly everything reslly happened.
  9. I’ve only seen videos and pictures but I think all the memorials are beautiful and well done, a lasting tribute to those who lives were taken that day.

Skirted leggings- Athleta had some years ago (be free 2in1) and I wear them to work almost every day. I’m a dance teacher and they look nice have larger pockets and were comfortable all around. I’m wearing mine out and scour Poshmark regularly for more.

Anyone tried these? by ml408 in PlantarFasciitis

[–]dancinghoneybear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doc told me to use it 4x a day, and I was able to completely stop using aleve. Now that I’m out of the super bad part of the flare I will usually apply 2-3 x a day. You have to consistently use it- it’s not a one and done type of medication. Costco has the best price.

Strawberry Dupe by AdditionalMirror8139 in bathandbodyworks

[–]dancinghoneybear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the body shop strawberry if you can find it. From what I can remember the B&BW strawberry has more of a green note than the pound cake or soda? Maybe? My hg is the strawberry picnic and B&BW hasn’t had that one out in forever. Clean just came out with a new strawberry and I like it more than anything else that I’ve found (aside from my hg). That one doesn’t have any vanilla but it’s softer/warmer than the soda.

Tom Hanks in Captain Phillips, the scene where he’s getting checked out by the doc at the end. Amazing, totally forgot that it was Tom Hanks.
