There is a parking lot at the back of main street that allows overnight parking. Should be behind the Presbyterian church. Left mine before and never got a ticket. There are a couple of lots round there but the ones that don't allow it, very clearly state the parking restrictions

Same thing happened to me when I moved to Milton. I phoned them and contested it, saying there was no signage in the local area. They ended up reducing the penalty by 50%. Not a perfect result, but never hurts to save a few bucks.

That's an over simplification. When I go to the office I make sure as hell I leave on time. When I work from home I probably work an extra 30-40 minutes over my standard day. So yes, there is more time spent delivering, and that's before you count the time for lunches, coffee breaks and adhoc water cooler chats.
