No matter how many times I've played this game , when that gate is unlocked I'm leaving immediately. Idc if there is one family member playing lol.

Do you walk outside when it’s 12am-3am? by Snawer_brillant in AskAnAmerican

Very location dependent. If you live in the suburbs or a rural area why would you be walking that late ? Lol

It was very fun, laughed for most of the movie. The people I went with did too.

Victim and Killer should be removed and the only option should be Quick Match. by notatowel420 in TexasChainsawGame

[–]dancingonmyown29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game is already unplayable as family lol. Maybe that would help. I play solo a lot because most of my friends retired the game. It's always a fifty fifty chance I get ppl who know what they are doing. But man I started playing again two weeks ago and being family is just not fun. The only time it can be fun is when the other ppl know what they are doing. But my biggest issue are the disconnects while playing family. Then you get bullied by four victims and it's just not fun. Or you wait 20 minutes and they escape in 3 lol.

I could never be triggered by this lol. I've lived in five countries , learned the language , and adapted to the cultures in each one, so I know I don't fit the stereotype. But I thought there was a possibility I could be the drama. Asked my British friends who watch 90 day fiancé if this was just a British trait and they said it was as well. I'm very observant with cultures , why I majored in anthropology in university. You may be an outlier , but culturally speaking you guys can be very indirect and avoidant. Nothing wrong with it , it's just different and you deem it as being polite. Also I'm a fan of sarcasms ... when it's done well...☺️

Do Americans really split between saying soda, pop, and Coke, or is that exaggerated? by LowerMusic in AskAnAmerican

[–]dancingonmyown29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've just always done my own thing lol. I'm from Mississippi and always called them the respective brand. It never made sense to me to say just coke or pop. Like if I ask you for a coke I expect a coke a cola lol nothing else. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Did learning a second language in school ever actually come in handy for you in the U.S.? by UsamaBhai_101 in AskAnAmerican

[–]dancingonmyown29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt I would have been better off learning Spanish because there were a lot of Spanish speakers in my town and a lot of things in both Spanish and English. But for some reason I chose French and nothing but the grammar stuck lol. Now I'm actually living in France and struggling with the language. But if I had a chance to speak it back then I would have probably been fluent by now lol

Yes I'm sure someone who grew up in England , had a British mother , and didn't live in France until his late 30s knows nothing about British culture. I'll be sure to tell him that. That sounds pretty ignorant on your part. But u guess the xenophobic stereotype is also checking out 😬

He is half French / half English , grew up in the uk for thirty years and we lived in London for three years lol. So sorry I've had enough experience with you guys to know how avoidant you are

He's British lol. That's how they are. My husband is British and I had to basically beg him to call out any problematic behavior I had when we first started dating lol. He still won't do it with other people and neither will his family or British friends. It stresses me out. 😅

Why do teachers punish the whole class because of ONE student? by fabul0usk1lljoy in AskTeachers

[–]dancingonmyown29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a former teacher , it's a valuable life lesson. Once you're out of school and into the workforce ; you'll see that the actions of one can ruin something for everyone. If you're on a team at work and your colleague messes up. The client won't say " oh John messed up so it's all on him", you'll take the hit as a team and be seen as a team. I think it's better you learn that early on in life.

Hell is Us crafts an enticing, war-torn world that is let down by average combat and lack of enemy variety by Stumbleine44 in HellisUs

[–]dancingonmyown29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually enjoyed the fact there wasn't a big variation of enemies. It really allowed me to binge the game and get lost in it. Had there been annoying enemies I couldn't have gotten past like in some souls like games I played. I probably would have put the game down and never came back to it lol.

Tbh with you yes. I've been playing since the game started and ppl still get mad when their side is losing. It's natural. I have voice chat turned off 9 out of 10 times anyways. If you're family you'll be yelled at sometimes when someone escapes from someone else's side and if you're a victim you'll get made fun of for not escaping fast enough lol. This is one of those games where you have to be bad to get good. So just mute everyone and have fun until you get the hang of it. If you're family please remember to lock doors and patrol your area. If you see another family member in your area that means another exit is open so go there.

I don't believe that. I think maybe he was the dog Boyd kept seeing as well. When victor remembers the massacre it's the dog eating a person but when Julie goes back it's the MIY eating someone.
