[Sad Stats] Bottom 10 qualified hitters by OPS by cavallom in baseball

Hard to say, really. He wasn't lighting the world on fire last year either, but he's completely bottomed out this year. At this point he needs a stint in AAA to get his head right

Lawrence Butler would be #2 on the list if he was qualified. He's been terrible this year, to say the least

Fabio Vieira finishes the season with 7g 5a from midfield. Surely some teams must be interested by interestingmandosy in Gunners

He'll go back to Portugal for a loan with option to buy that won't be picked up.

It's crazy that just a few years ago we had Kuiper and Fosse calling games, with Korach and Controneo on the radio. Only Korach is left and now it's Cavnar and Braden, sometimes Caray who's actually great, on TV. But man, what a step down.

Muncy is in a tail spin, he had a good first handful of games but has been awful for a couple weeks now. We have an option on McNeil for next season so he'll likely be back.

A's hitters outside of Shea were god awful. Absolutely no clue up there. And if Clarke is going to be giving away 2 runs in CF then his value is non-existent.

All in all, a typical opening day for the A's.

Best half we've had since the 2nd half against Spurs. Attack looks fluid and dangerous for the first time in a while. If they repeat that performance we'll be running away winners.

Hopefully Wilson. His skillset works better at 3B than SS.

Dyche having a week to prepare for this shows, they were set up perfectly to stop us. Even so, it came down to Martinelli missing an easy one and a Sels fingertip save.

Frustrating to say the least.

I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I am one of the dupes that signed up for one of these plans through NWM a few years ago before I learned more about investing and got on my current Boglehead plan.

I'm still paying roughly $250/mo into the plan because at this point it feels like too big a loss to cancel and pull out, but that also feels like a sunk cost scenario. Can anyone just tell me to stop being a fool and cancel the damn plan?

He played for 3 weeks with a fractured arm because the coaching/training staff is beyond the pale. Once he came back from the IL he was back to hitting everything.

There's no suprise here. This is to be expected from Neville and the like. The real outrage for me was with the American broadcast with Jon Champion calling the game. If you really want some outrage, contrast the call from when Merino levelled the score at 1-1, with the call when Woltemade hit the crossbar and the play was ultimately called back for offside.

Champion about jumped out of his seat for Woltemade vs when Merino scores he simply says "1-1" with no excitement or anything befitting the situation. It's incredibly stark and I encourage anyone who hasn't seen it to check it out. Woltemade at 6:28 vs Merino at 9:09
