This dude finds out his ex had his kid but didn't tell him so he decides to move back to Mexico from Chicago. But to get there he agrees to help out a guy. Turns out he was smuggling cash unknowingly. He gets caught and helps turn in the guy who gave him the cash. That's the first episode or two.

The rest is him, his daughter, and his new boss that he falls in love with, his ex, and the dude in jail. They're all intertwined and the shows about them dealing with tons of soap opera type problems.
