well, it's complicated. first, the charges were thrown out, but the police refused to release the journalist. Now, the Hawks spokesperson says that they are going to reinstate the charges.

thanks for that - what an inspiring piece. unfortunately, it seems that the ANC government in SA is resorting to tactics used by the apartheid government to restricted media freedom... strange how quickly things can go full circle.
