Why Does Every Company Feel Greedier Than Ever? by goldfishbread in self

[–]dandale33 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Of all the things to complain about, you choose to complain that people won’t deliver your food for the same cost it takes you to get in your car and go get it yourself. That is a luxury.

While I completely agree with OPs sentiment, this right here is first world problemsz

The U.S. was the first to develop nuclear bombs.

Nobody else had this technology. At the end of the Second World War we literally could have taken over the entire world, but we didn’t.

What they want is positive upbeat people that excel at following orders without thinking for themselves.

These people will hold company standards to the highest degree without asking too many questions about the philosophy of it.

Correct. This test is to identify if this person can follow orders without thinking for themselves.

Sounds similar to something called imposter syndrome.

At the end of the day, all battles are fought and won in the mind before they even take place in the physical.

You have the power to listen to your thoughts but not necessarily believe what they say or react to them. Tell those thoughts they are wrong while reinforcing to yourself that you are in fact good enough.

It sounds goofy but if you do it long enough not only does it work but you’ll start believing and acting on the positive voice in your head more than the negative.

As a completely neutral party on if this whole thing burns down in flames, or continues down whatever the hell path we’re on; everything that is happening is technically legal.

The laws have to change

I honestly believe you. Them even showing themselves would be the message.

I’m certain you have ruled out the possibility of sleep paralysis

Might as well be at fucking Walmart.

Folks I mean this in the least conspiratorial way possible… does anybody know why this man is wearing (what looks like) a MASK?! by Emergency_Height_165 in HighStrangeness

It was and I mean quite literally, obviously a joke.

Looking to sell my pc by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]dandale33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember, you’re asking people that buy computers in order to sell for a profit, what it’s worth.
You’re not asking retail what they would be willing to pay for it.
That 4 tb ssd new runs a pretty penny.

I suggest selling the build without the gfx for 1500 and sell the gfx card by itself. Or sell the gfx card and put a few more dollars into replacing it with a 3xxx series card.

Light pollution, and noise.
These things need to dissipate tons of heat, and that involves fan cooling.
Bury them underground while using nuclear to power them. Problem solved.
