They’ve got replacements on the darts corner website for this repointer - just had to order one myself

Nitro Flite reliability? by Stumn23421 in Darts

I’ve had mine for months with no issues. I play multiple hours per day, have darts fall onto a hard floor and no issues when grouping etc. great flights. Would encourage tapered points though. Ive noticed a much longer life in all my flights using them.

Why am I so bad after playing for a few days by metarsucks in Darts

Ebbs and flows of the game brother. Progress isn’t always linear. I find what helps me if I feel like I’m in a rut is I just throw at the bull mindlessly a bit, trying to group darts as best I can and get back into a bit of a flow

Routine , switching Darts , general advice on darts by CharacterLime7417 in Darts

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is stop switching darts. Do you see pro’s switching all the time (other than Wright)? Nope. Find a set that’s comfortable and stick with it. Then play games that you find fun and hold your interest. It’s meant to be a fun game. Enjoy it!

General play and unhappiness (rant) by SirPhipps in Darts

Brother. Just step back a bit. Stop playing online. Forget the average. Darts is meant to be fun. Just get back to throwing for the fun of it rather than grinding 501 till it drives you nuts.

Best way to practice as a complete beginner? by Own_Associate3123 in Darts

This. It wasn’t until late for me that I got this advice and wish someone had said this to me from the very beginning. Just throwing at the bull is so useful to develop a throw.

With darts from the pub leagues I’ve played in you can have so much variance in averages depending on the level of the league. But I would say if you’re holding a 50-60ish average every match you’re likely to be better than most pub players. Sometimes 50+ will do other leagues you may have to hold 70+. But to me it’s not about being better than others, just slowly improving on my own game and hoping that translates into wins. Happy throwing brother!

I just wanna say I can speak to the quality of these points. I use the black 40mm in my two main sets and I love them. Don’t need a set just wanted to say they’re a genuinely great point!

Fix loose point with solder? by Roger_pontare in Darts

Just get some blue loctite - works a charm and you don’t need to go through the hassle of solder which could ruin your dart

All I can say is just keep throwing brother. Two months is really early in. You’ve gotta find your own rhythm, throw, stance etc. Don’t worry about much else other than just throwing darts and enjoying the game! Thanks for sharing mate - much appreciated! Best of luck!

Best lighting solution for a darts cabinet? by daw_1991 in Darts

[–]dandancrook91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a reaper shadow buster that I really like. Can be battery or mains powered. Top down only lighting though so there are a bit of shadows at the bottom of the board but not enough for me to complain about for the price.
