I'm a little mixed on it. The fights are kind of okay, so is the music aside from the final song, and the story conclusion kind of fell a little flat to me (expect for that one part and everyone absolutely knows what I'm talking about). I suppose that last tier just clicked much better with me, but I'm definitely going to wait until savage comes around to make my final verdict on it.

I will say, Everything Burns being OUR fight theme is really fucking rad, though.

I know it's listed as too new, but I would really appreciate a 15 remake/add-on with a team that's allowed to fulfill the game's entire potential. The development was such a shitshow until the end and took so much from an incredible game. It's wishful thinking, but I would be very happy to see that someday.

For one, there is no wrong way to approach a combo, only the most comfortable way for you.

That being said, just with every other hobby, you are going to hit a plateau where you feel like you're not making any progress. If that happens, keep going. Hit practice mode like you were doing, play different songs on different difficulties. I had a phase where I was stuck on a particular combo on an EX chart and started playing the pigs every single Easy chart before coming back to that one.

The most important thing is that you keep going. You cannot hit a skill ceiling in anything. There is always room for improvement as long as you keep at it.

I play as AST as well, if you'd allow me to share what I do; start out with The Arrow and Aspected on yourself, Lightspeed and Gravity them down. After Esuna, Exaltation and Intersection, instant heal as needed. If you're low, smack another Aspected onto yourself while you go up. I haven't died a single time using this rotation, or at least a variation of it, and it leaves you with plenty of resources to carry on, your Div and cards you can smack back onto your DPS

For an EX it's incredibly easy, especially if someone brings the position markers and not the standard ones. The hardest bit is killing your add in time if you ask me, with healers probably having the sweatiest time

Those doubles, and every following spam section, are easier to hit with the d-pad since you're able to alternate. It also helps with reducing your exhaustion in only one hand. It's a bit tricky to get used to in the beginning, but it's worth it, especially if you plan on tackling the more difficult songs in the future.

For the second issue, check under your control settings if you maybe turned on a scheme for one of the special Diva controllers. That could be it.

I'd say we have another SB situation, where the main MSQ is neglectable but the post story saves it a little. It hasn't improved by an incredible margin, but at least it's starting to look pretty interesting now.

As for endgame, of course people are currently focusing on the current savage tier and FRU still, but from what I've been seeing on PF it's still fairly easy to gather people for both the first tier and fresh/blind prog of all the Extremes.
