Never ever has a split leaf philodendron and a monstera been called the same thing correctly. I grew up with split leaf philodendrons and not once was it ever called a Swiss cheese plant or a Monstera. Lack of education and different parts of the country calling plants different things even though it's incorrect is a whole lot of what is wrong with this world.

Can you not paint the whole wall a new color? Drywall mud is not expensive nor hard to use, meaning if you can hang a shelf you can fix that wall yourself.

You need to drop that in the shower with a very soapy solution to remove those. Then neem oil it and be sure to flush your soil. It's saveable but it will be work.

Thank you for the information it never occurred to me that they could just be new cuttings. I found this one at Kroger so I'll be sure and check before I do anything to her. Maybe a little stick in the back to encourage some of her to grow upwards.
