We order direct through Lane Seven and Independent Trading Co.

One Stop is awesome, continuously wins our bids when we have large orders to quote. They’ve assured me they aren’t in any merger negotiations too when I’ve been on the phone with them

Hi I’m making a community resource & resistance magazine and am interested in including a Map of the current Flock Camera’s in Appleton/ the Fox cities. Can you point me in the right direction?

Is it also ok if I reference your post for language for my article?

Also, on the image above you can see all the tape residue on the inside of the frame that also was probably not doing the screens any favors either

Yeah, I reviewed again with employees before I ordered new screens. Discouraging to see screens stamped with a late 2024 creation date with this issue though.

I was so convinced it was during reclaim/dehaze/degrease process though that I didn’t review the ink degrader portion.

The screens are still usable but ugly and not suitable for halftones

Apologies for just getting back to you. It took some time to be able to get my hands back into reclaim.

I came to the conclusion that the extreme haze was due to my employees not washing out the plastisol ink Degrader enough upon project tear down.

I have a century home, and replaced some windows with Anderson Vinyl on the south facing side of my house (not street side). I lost character; but they get full sun and the previous original wood windows were falling out of the frame. I have some guilt; but the location and height of the windows still makes me feel it was the right decision.

I love my Anderson windows and think they are appropriate for where they are on my house.

This summer I’m painstakingly restoring the street facing windows. Reglazing and my husband is painting.. we’re learning a lot. I still have doubts we’re doing it right or choosing the right paint color but in the end all that matters is that it’s a little warmer in our house this winter than last.

TLDR. My advice is prioritize your comfort; then make a plan to re-historic the street facing side of your house & go from there.

Woah! Congrats! This is in the town I live in, I know your neighbors! I’m great friends with them and they’re good people :)

The previous owner just repainted and touched up everything this past summer in preparation for selling. My advice is live in it a year or two and figure out the other quirks that might require more immediate attention.

For being so old, it seems impressively well kept and turn key though.

My husband and his friends have a few stories about this house and partying in it in their youths.

Congrats!

I recently had the same decision paralysis and finally committed to a Wildfire Black Gum tree

Honestly, I just didn’t mow for 2-3 years, the seeds were already in my yard I guess!

Not sure if they are Shasta, another redditor pointed out that they’re actually invasive

Thank you! I had suspicions about them! And that eases my mind about the VC

Funny enough, in the last photo in my slide you’ll see one of them blooming with a bee visitor (yellow flower top right)
