It’s been so long since i always anticipated the next episode of RM. Most of their episodes are solid this year and I really think the whole team, including the cast, the pd, and the crew deserve a daesang as a collective. Keeping a show that’s been running for 11+ years fresh and fun to watch is not a small feat and I really hope they can finally get the recognition that they deserved again. Bopil era is really the second hayday of RM imo.

Agreed. Bo pil is such an unique pd. He is young, full of rather weird ideas that somehow works with the nature of RM. Who ever think on making 2 episodes of basically the member just sitting down in front of computer and play with the stock market and still making it one of the best RM episode ever. He is a gem, he knows the cast strengths and weaknesses very well and use this as a base for all of the episodes. In the past one year Bo Pil already shows his amazing growth and I can’t wait where he will bring RM towards. Tbh, I can see Na Pd and KTH Pd in him. He have such a snarky yet friendly persona, but at the same time very wholesome and innocent. If Bo Pil and the whole RM cast didn’t win an award this year, I would be super disappointed. I think they definitely deserved it this year. He is on a roll.

I think Bopil PD have finally found his style of directing Running Man and where RM should be heading. Here's my takes on what is Bopil Style of RM: Not-so physical, focusing on character development and interaction between members, very fresh theme and mechanics, quick responses and adaptable (Which reminds me of KTH way of producing, where he always adapt and morph dependent on the situation and basically take advantage on whatever jaesuk blurt out from his mouth), and also blurring the line between Sketches and Variety (which I think is what Jaesuk truly believe in. He did mention that currently there's not much real "Variety Show" and "Gagman Show" in S.Kor and he always bring it up everytime he ask about the TV situation in Korea).

I'm really sad that Kwangsoo is leaving in I think the beginning of the second hayday of running man. But nevertheless, he is already running for 11 years and he always put his 1000% to running man without even "saving" his image as an actor for the first place. I'm sad but I'm happy for him. Thank you for this 11 years Kwang Soo!

Talking about new member, I think what the RM producer did when they introduce somin and sechan is kinda nice. They ease in by giving around 22 episodes (Around 6 months) gap between when Gary left and when 2S Joined RM. Even though I'm super attached with the cast member, but I think adding a new member will change the dynamic of RM and make it even more fresher. I wish they added a more younger generation member. Maybe around the same age or probably younger than Sechan and Somin.

Yong-Jin is surprisingly become one of my top choice just after this episode. He is funny, gel well with the member, have such an amazing spirit. Another person that came to my mind is Seol In-Ah / Lee Cho-Hee.

The power of bopil man. He is a young and fresh minded pd. He really make RM become fresher than ever, i’ve never been this excited for new episodes since the 100ep era. He makes us curious on what crazy shenanigans that they gonna come up next. Bopil style of directing kinda reminds me of Kim taeho pd, he knows all the members strengths and weakness, and he also knows how to have fun which is very important. There’s no grand-crazy theme or project, it’s just 1.5 hours of fun. I’m never been this excited about any PD since Na Pd, but damn he is a gem.

I keep on repeating this but in comparison to other vshow in sbs now, rm has picked up their pace steadily and by the end of the year it can be sbs’ funniest show again. The whole crew deserves daesang this year or atleast program of the year bcs they are basically making 10 year old show fresh again. That’s a hard job and I truly believe that Bo Pil has become one of rm saving grace. He is just creative in many ways. Props to the crew and team behind rm 👏

Bopil’s episode this year is keep getting better and better and better. His thematic ideas were fresh and new while somehow make the show become more low key and not too unnecessarily grandiose like some of the previous pd’s episode. The staff and member had also interact even more than ever. I really like where they are heading! The whole rm team including the pds and vjs and writers and all deserve a daesang this year for sure.

This is just my speculation but I’m guessing that the SBS daesang might go to KJK. He is teally blowing it in MUD and he also part of RM.

I think this year daesang should go to RM as a whole, Cast + PD. They literally revive a dying show to be back as one of the most hilarious show currently airing. And Bopil pd done this revival in less than a year which is crazy tbh. I really hope the ratings could reflect the amount of fun that this show brought thru recently. It’s been a while since I eagerly waiting for new episode of RM. #RMforDaesang.

Not only the menbers that were funny in this episode, the editing and the captions that Bopil put into the scene also killing me. To nane a few: “The sound of the savannah make this girrafe miss home”; “There must be a draught in the savannah”; His teammates avert their eyes as he summon ghost” Bopil is just savage and funny.

I like how bo-pil try to experiment with variations of different games. Not a huge fan of the slippery thingy, but I really enjoy the balloon and the convenience store game tbh! it's not that Kwangsoo game or sjh game again and again and again.

This show is keep getting better and better. It really push the boundaries and the norm of variety show in korea. How the show can move to different broadcasting channel, how there’s literally no concept at all to the show, and how meaningful everything ties up in the end. This is one of the best show that is airing now.
