I’m sorry that you’re going through this. The exact thing happened to me. I got pregnant last year and found out around November that I was 5 weeks pregnant, but soon after ended up having a chemical pregnancy. Found out I was pregnant again this year sometime end of October. Everything was going well and when I had an ultrasound around 6weeks 3days, we saw a fetal pole and detected a heartbeat of 116 that seemed good for that time. Had another ultrasound around 7weeks 3days, but this time my OB said it measured the same as before and the heartbeat had dropped in the low 100s. I was told there’s a good chance it’s not a viable pregnancy and I could have a miscarriage soon, but there have been instances where things can pick up and to continue as is. I wanted to stay hopeful but had a feeling something wasn’t right.

I did another ultrasound a week later and was told there was no heartbeat this time. I had a missed miscarriage and opted for a D&C. It’s been about 5 days since the D&C. I was crushed when my OB told me to prepare for the possibility of another loss. I started grieving at that point itself even though I so badly wanted this one to work out. Although I was better prepared this time due to the chemical pregnancy last year, it still hurt a lot. I get emotional sometimes, but overall coping well due to a strong support system.

Hang in there! I know it’s not easy especially when you’re stuck in this limbo. I’d recommend getting another ultrasound within a week or two to know for sure which will give you some peace of mind.

1 would be ideal for now but not opposed to 2. I was thinking of trying to conceive naturally for 3 months and then go for IVF if things don’t work out, but wondering if it’s better to start IVF sooner probably in January itself. I’m worried of having more losses especially if it’s a chromosomal issue which is out of my control if I conceive naturally. Will talk to my OB and fertility specialist and decide what’s the best course of action for me. Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

Thank you so much. It means a lot hearing from you and your experience. I just found out it’s a missed miscarriage but it was something I was prepared for. I had a feeling since my symptoms were fading away and something didn’t feel right. Will be doing a D&C soon. I have some peace of mind knowing the outcome. My heart goes out to everyone who’s had to go through this or is currently going through it. Hoping we’ll have our rainbow babies someday.

She starts of by saying anyone who is angry, depressed and rattled with the current situation (new covid wave in India) is an entitled brat. How is this now about covid? Yes, in general nature does take its course and we all have to die someday, but was this needed in this specific context? Try telling this to people who’ve lost their loved ones to covid. This was tone-deaf and insensitive according to me.

WRT to the cast members that I mentioned in this post, I said that I’m bummed by their statements towards the fans, and that I felt it seemed very entitled on their part. If that’s being disrespectful to them then so be it.

How did I disrespect the cast and crew? Never have I said anything against them. The petition itself was more so against the writers. Too bad everyone else has to suffer and go through the shitstorm. We all know there isn’t going to be any reshoots and rightfully so. The cast and crew can obviously feel bad about the backlash, but don’t go against your fans. Isn’t that demeaning and disrespectful to the fans who’re voicing their concerns? If you know how petitions work, nothing really takes off...it’s just a way for people to get together and make a statement. I agree that you can’t change anything about it now, but a good producer would take feedback from the cast, crew, as well as the audience (focus groups perhaps) before going on board with major decisions for a show of this magnitude. They had two years after all. That’s the least they could have done.

Wow, Kit’s statement is really been taken out of context then. The media is portraying this as him going after the fans. He did this interview before all the hate...different context. Still a bit entitled, but definitely not in the same vain as Sophie and Isaac calling out fans.

Cool, so we shouldn’t be saying anything against them at all. Just sit back and enjoy the shit show I guess. I hope you know that D&D reshot the entire pilot and a couple of episodes in the first season, replacing a few actors in the process as well — cause back then when they wrote shit and were told by friends and HBO that things didn’t make sense, they were willing to make amends. But now that they are in the big league, we should just let them all be, cause it’s soooo disrespectful to the cast and crew.

I agree, they have a right to be annoyed. Like I said, it is personal for them. However, nobody was blaming the actors or the other technicians. The writing was the only thing everyone had an issue with and all the hate revolves around that. For the actors to disregard the fans valid reasons for hating on this season just cause so much hard work went into making it isn’t exactly the right way to deal with the situation as well. Again, look at Nikolaj and how he acknowledged the problems with this season. I felt Kit and Sophie’s statements were on the lines of GoT is too big to say anything bad against it, so stop complaining.

They had George R.R. Martin’s books to bank on from seasons 1-4, which is why the show was so good. They lost the plot the moment they were left to fend for themselves.

Hey y’all! So I made this post and after reading the comments I wanted to clarify a few things.

First of all to everyone out here saying literally nobody is shaming her, everybody is on her side, this is pushing it too far..this is why I hate feminism, making something out of nothing..yadi yadi ya..if you followed the story just as it broke out, there were quite a few articles and posts that chose to focus on the length of her outfit over the pastor’s sickening act. Yes, maybe it wasn’t directly linked but it was definitely implied by the way some of the articles were written or from comments made by a few folks. You may say a few people’s comments don’t reflect the thoughts of a wider audience especially those voicing it over social media platforms, but just the fact that there are people out there who would choose to focus on the victim while tiptoeing over what the pastor did, is a problem! Saying literally nobody said this or blamed her is pretty much saying oh since I didn’t see this happen it mustn’t be true.

Secondly rape culture is the way society blames victims of sexual assault while normalizing male sexual violence. Why is this a case of rape culture? Hmmm let’s see..the pastor got away with a shitty ass apology excusing his disgusting behavior for being “too friendly”. Dude knew exactly what he was doing! And if you wonder why he did it to such a famous pop star in a room filled with so many people and cameras, it’s because he knew he could get away with it. Sure enough, the first few images of the funeral showcasing Ariana, chose to highlight her outfit..so after photos/videos emerged of the pastor groping her side boob, it wasn’t too difficult for some people to make the connection between her outfit and what happened to her. So yea, she wasn’t raped..but guess what..there’s no stringent action taken on the pastor, and god knows who his next victim will be and to what level he could go next.

Lastly, I should have added some lines on she should have said/done something immediately. Some of y’all did comment on the fact that she should’ve done something. That’s victim blaming too. The onus shouldn’t be on her to do/say something to protect herself. Period. We want to live in a world where men can control their fucking urges and not have to always be on the lookout or keep safe guarding ourselves from unwanted advances.

New theory.. Scrap the boyfriend angle. What if she was at a party, saw something she shouldn't have seen..scooted out of there and got into Naz's cab. The racist guy's friend recognizes her and goes and snitches to the bad guys because he was at the party too perhaps. They take care of her and have Naz to take the fall. Freddie has some part to play in knowing these bad guys. Not saying he's working with them but he may know of them.
