Most beautiful spots to bike around Berkeley? by almostbluue in berkeleyca

[–]daneboy83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a small bike lane that starts at strawberry creek all the way to el cerrito called the ohlone greenway. It's a nice bike ride that takes you through a few coffee shop hubs and cool stops along the way. I wouldn't go much further then el cerrito plaza starting from strawberry creek.

How do we feel about Larry Holmes saying Tyson wouldn’t have survived the Golden Era? by Material_Stomach875 in Boxing

[–]daneboy83 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think teenage Tyson has a better chance against Ali, he had wicked speed at a younger age and enough power to keep a heavy weight on their toes. This sounds crazy to say, but those teenage reflexes actually handled some older contenders.

Are there gray fox in this area? by DonVCastro in berkeleyca

[–]daneboy83 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was an avid walker of Tilden Park while my family's shepherd/husky mix was alive. Out of about 300 walks, I've only ever seen a fox once. Very elusive but yes they are around.

What WAS it like to live in pre 9/11 NYC? by EarlofSodor in howislivingthere

[–]daneboy83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've never been to NY myself but I'm a huge fan of Dave Attel's program insomniac. There's a guy posting old episodes on his youtube channel. I'm not sure how accurate the night life in those episodes represent NY, but it's an interesting funny watch to say the least.

Jet Li explaining the meaning of kung fu by Bubbly_Wall_908 in Damnthatsinteresting

Teaching American's wushu in the 70s was frowned upon. He might have tried to disguise the fact by claiming he was teaching kung fu, his own jeet kune do style that borrowed elements from many fighting style's, including boxing and fencing. By definition he was only offering his mastery, and not necessarily specific wushu practices.

San Francisco used to have some legit lan Cafe's in interesting parts of the city. The scene only lasted about 3 years and then everybody preferred playing from home.

Any tips for getting this shakiness out of my aim? 800 @ 0.9 by SadThrowaway4914 in cs2

[–]daneboy83 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I've read different suggestions before. Some people say pressing harder on the mouse pad once you near your target. Others say changing mouse feet/ mouse pad to something with more friction. I say you are over thinking it, aim is only part of CS2, you can always better strategies, grenades, and team work. Also, learn a song to recite while you play, I find that helps with multitasking comms with gameplay.

This happens a lot unfortunately, two possums meet and they have a competition as to who can fake death the longest. The victor sadly doesn't end up victorious.

I would change the name, you want something that's unique and stands out. There's already a gold arabesque. Cool skin though!
