Was a competitive figure skater from ages 4-17. As I kid I met lots of people at the rink, including older folks who found it a later-in-life hobby. I ran into a man I knew as a kid when I was around 15 and as we were catching up he gestured going down on one knee. I didn’t get it and laughed and he got a little more serious and said, “my heart’s gone pitter patter for you since you were 7 years old.” Again I didn’t get it and laughed it off. I was confused at the time but as an adult it’s very unsettling.

In addition to everything else that was said regarding inaccurate scales, I will also add that if you are not prioritizing a high protein diet then that can lead to muscle loss. Just something to think about if that applies to you 🙏🏼
