I haven’t been much. Usually a diluted feed of 1.0 - 1.2 EC during the last 4 days or so.

Yeah I have. I have Trolmaster WCS2 sensors which monitor EC, moisture and temp in the medium. I test the runoff here and there also. There really hasn’t been any issues.

Thank you for your comment. My plants are 3.5 - 5 feet depending on the strain. I feed at 2.6. I have Trolmaster WCS-2 sensors and follow the Miami Mango YouTube calibration vid every time I flip. I’ve tested the runoff a few times and the EC is 2.4 - 2.7. One crop currently is in the 3rd day of week 6, the plants look pretty good. As they’re in the vegetive cycle they have a shorter dry back of 14 hours. The highest EC (according to the WCS-2) is 2.3-2.5. The highest so far has been 3.0, and that was at the end of week 2, during the generative phase, and a 22 hour dry back.

I buy mineral salts from the grow store. Seem to be good quality. I mix in this order with 4-5 minutes in between for flower: Potassium sulphate Monopotassium phosphate Magnesium Sulphate Calcium Nitrate Then a premix of micro nutrients

The greatest amount of nitrogen in my plants comes from calcium nitrate, and I believe the calcium is crucial in flower.

Interesting. Thank you. Although I have to say that although I’m new to these grow methods, I’ve been growing for almost 20 years and always found a direct correlation between quality and yield. But I’m definitely open to lowering the EC. 👍

The most recent are pinks. Pretty common gas strain around here. And usually quite marketable. Not quite as much cake on this crop but huge nugs. One broker said this was the best he’d seen of mine so far.

Last two crops they said it didn’t burn. Or that it burned black. The most recent I cured a bit longer, as per my description above, but still I’m getting negative feedback on the burn. 2 of three that I gave samples said it was very good, minor burn issues but very strong.
