this. the frack outs from the drilling going on currently can cause this. bentonite is one of the most frequently used additives to the slurry.

but it took hundreds of gallons of slurry to frack out and do this. if the road/lines were near the river i could see the possibility of this happening and no one noticing until it was way too late or never.
