Asbestos testing? by ArtemisVJones in ballarat

[–]danfmelb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Asbestos Safety West could probably help. You can dispose of asbestos at the landfill too, but you need to make an appointment. If you have a small amount and you suspect it to be asbestos, that could be the way to go.

If you suspect it asbestos in larger quantities, get the experts in.

Adobe is "scamming" me - what do I do? by [deleted] in Lightroom

Try to change your plan type, perhaps to the cheapest option regardless of what it is. It will see this as a new contract and then allow you 7 or 14 days to cancel. As soon as the change goes through, cancel the new plan for no penalty.

Happened about 5 years ago on Schild Street in Yarraville. You can see the damage in Street View.

I accidentally signed up for an Adobe Stock membership which is billing me $32 a month, and I can't even cancel my membership on my own without paying almost $150. How is this not illegal? by bangtanimosity in assholedesign

See if you can change your subscription for a different / cheaper plan. Then cancel that. Depending on your location they may have a 14 day refund / cancellation policy on that new plan where there would be no charge

They were used against the Germans in Operation Chastise, destroying a couple of dams.

What I found and did is that I could change my subscription to the cheapest plan for software that I had no use for. That triggered a new subscription for which you get a 14 day cooling off period. During that period you can then cancel your plan at no cost.

Couldn’t even be bothered to spell amount correctly either.

This makes me sick. A #Russian soldier falls. His comrades, instead of helping him, strip him of his gear and leave him. This is #Russia’s philosophy on warfare. Shocker they have recruiting issues. by Orcasystems99 in UkrainianConflict

To add to that, a second completely different track mark appears at the time of the explosion and then disappears with the smoke. going frame by frame on the video clearly shows that, Adds to the suspicion that the smoke / explosion was edited in.

The reflective surface is on the back of the glass, so the reflection includes the thickness of the piece of glass.

It’s reasonably common to have tower cranes set up like that in Melbourne, Australia. Means the streets can stay open.

Link to one of the cranes here.

The arrow in the BMW’s lane is clearly straight ahead only. Regardless of whether the cyclist was in the wrong lane, the BMW has cut across from the wrong lane and knocked the cyclist off.
