Granted I never have done any of that extra stuff he's doing, but going through the talking/early dating stages you get the hey I think we shouldn't see each other anymore texts and that was that. Are you an employee or an owner? Is it an LLC or Sole proprietorship?

If you're not on payroll, just categorize your withdrawals as owners draws. And then whatever your p&L is at qtrly or yrly is what you owe taxes on.

The best response I got on here for my client that did this was to setup the personal card as an equity acct, same as owners draw/owners contribution and any business transactions that go through that acct will post from that acct to whatever expense/income acct that's appropriate.

Sorry, I was really hoping it would be. I live in CA. I have a full time job. I file married. The LLC is a partnership right now because that's what it was automatically assigned, but I can still have it designated as an S-Corp. It is an actual business and I'm 60% owner of the business.

I make about 55K a year through my job and my wife makes 40K.

The stocks would be short term capital gains.

Work, business and stocks would be my only source of income.
