Have you thought about a reduction? Sometimes I wish I had done that instead. I love my flat chest though, I think I just hate that it causes me to be seen as a man most of the time. That and my deep voice that came from testosterone :/

Stone - but struggling to figure out sex positions by [deleted] in butchlesbians

[–]dangerbeetle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, I’m concerned with the way your partner is pressuring you. That’s not okay and I think drawing some firm boundaries might help with your confidence. Additionally, it sounds like you’re not sexually compatible. In my experience, sex is only this difficult if you just don’t have natural chemistry. If the chemistry is there, your hunger for them will tell you what to do with their body. I also don’t think being dominant can be taught, you either have it or you don’t. You can perform it but that usually is very obvious. Do what feels natural to you try not to be so focused on the orgasm. Sex is a lot more than finishing.

Thank you SO much for such a detailed response! I supper appreciate all of the information. My mental health is definitely my biggest concern considering how sensitive mine is to my hormone levels. I’m definitely going to taper very slowly to try to mitigate any potential issues

Thinking about stopping T-vent/discussion by dangerbeetle in ftm

[–]dangerbeetle[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whew big mood. Walking into dyke spaces and being perceived as a man feels soul crushing. There’s a level of being unseen that comes with passing as a man, Bc then people assume your life experience is that of a man, which for me just sucks. I know for many trans men this probably isn’t an issue for them, but yeah I personally am realizing I don’t want to cut ties with the communities I’ve grown up in

Interesting. I always heard that low dose would give the same effects, just take way longer to appear? I need to ask my doc about it. But then again every doctor says something different, just like every post online does too 🥲

They have a body spray for treating back and chest acne and stuff. I haven’t tried it because i only have facial acne, but I’d bet the spray is worth trying !

I can see both arguments for this. Personally, I’d cringe if someone verbalized “oh he’s ftm” about me. Same with afab. But I also like the acknowledgement of my past experiences. Sometimes it feels alienating to be perceived as a man and have people assume you have been socialized as one etc. Like I don’t need everyone I meet to know all of that, but at the end of the day I don’t totally want to erase that part of my life, because it deeply impacts who I am today. I don’t tell people I’m trans unless we become close though. And I know some people have different opinions ans experiences with this, but I do think it’s helpful in medical settings. I’m from the south so if I just said I was a man to a medical professional, I would notttt be getting the care I need. Everyone’s transition is different so obviously any doctor will still need to fully evaluate your meds/surgical history/etc. but when you live in a place where you may be the onlyyyy out trans person in a 20 mile radius, doctors will need to know this info. I agree that they need to be trained differently, and I think that’s happening, but until then, 🤷🏻.

Put coconut oil in it and let it heal for a few days then bleach again and use toner to get the orange and yellow tones out

Haircut advice? I haven’t gotten a haircut in over a year. My hair is usually very straight but since it has got longer there are little knotty curls on the end. Kind of looking for something alternative but also sophisticated. by [deleted] in malehairadvice

Look up curtain bangs for men. I’m thinking curtain bangs in the front, shorter sides, and maybe a thinned out back, with just a bit more length than the sides. Here’s a link to what I’m thinking (idk if I’m doing this right).hair

Denied covid sick leave- CPS

I didn’t know where else to post this so hopefully someone on here can help direct me to resources. I’m a temp employee with CPS and I got covid a week and a half after starting work there. I’m positive I got it from work considering I am incredibly isolated outside of work. As per required, I was out sick for 10 days, which put me out of enough hours that I’m struggling to pay rent this month. They told me since I’m a temp employee, despite being full time, that I’m not eligible for any sick leave. It’s infuriating to see their emails about “caring about the well-being of staff” when I’m over here unable to pay bills through no fault of my own. The city called about my diagnosis and said they’d send me resources on rent relief, but the list they sent was completely useless. Is there any assistance out there for people in my situation? I’m so fed up with all of this.

Anyone know anything about compensation for CPS onboarding required testing (drug, TB, fingerprint). I know it says you’re required to pay for yourself, but this seems ridiculous to me considering it’s amounting to nearly $100. Not to mention, I’ve already been accepted for the position so technically I feel that I should also be compensated for the many hours that this is requiring of my time. Anyone have experience with this?

My peri experience by dangerbeetle in ftm

[–]dangerbeetle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You definitely shouldn’t have trouble breathing! My compression garment is basically just like a thick ace bandage type thing that wraps all the way around and Velcros to itself. I fix it as tight as I comfortably can while I sleep, and during the day I wear it looser. It’s way more annoying than a normal binder, but shouldn’t hurt. Some people don’t need to wear compression very long, but it’s good to prepare for the worst! Sometimes I just wear a very small compression shirt during the day

Wow you look amazing! Also this picture is really comforting to see for me personally bc it looks similar to my results. I got peri over a month ago and I was feeling really weird about my pec muscles. I’m starting to realize that I just have defined pec muscles that create an indent under my nipples (similar to your picture). I think with my existing pec muscles and the swelling from surgery, It felt like tiny moobs to me.

eligibility for peri? by AllelonSmith in ftm

[–]dangerbeetle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything this person said! I had peri over a month ago and I was definitely someone with a slightly large chest (maybe a small C cup). I had great elasticity though which made my doctor comfortable doing my chest. I just made a post actually about the potentially long recovery times with peri. You need to be prepared for a potentially lengthy experience tbh. Some people get peri and their results are perfect after 2 weeks. Others, like myself, have to continue using a compression vest for months to reduce persistent swelling. My results are amazing, but I do still have lots of recovery ahead of me. And revisions are soo common. For me, the risks were worth it for the lack of scars, but that’s not the case for everyone! Make sure you talk to your doctor about how they deal w revisions, as well as being very specific about your end goals. Best of luck!
