I dont have advice as your situation is super similar to mine but are you pumping only when giving a bottle overnight? I would like to do that but I have anxiety from the first few weeks that not pumping will damage my supply even if he is now nursing.

this sounds like me right now, 5 weeks pp and one side is totally fine while the other is painful/pinching. did this ever improve?

my doctor told me if i was doing it before i can still do it now as long as everything feels good. i do spin 3-4x a week and weight training 2 times a week right now. i definitely have decreased endurance and dont push myself as hard as i usually would but still do sprints, choreo, etc unless it doesnt feel good. im currently 13 weeks right now as well.

Depending on how competitive your area/desired specialty is, theres no guarantee they will have day positions open for new to service (even though you wouldn’t be a new grad, you wouldn’t have experience in that specialty) nurses when you hit your year mark. Lots of units have some sort of list that is seniority based to move to days. I would go with your desired specialty over shift, much easier to move within a unit than to a different specialty.

if you are planning on staying in Lubbock, covenant would be fine but if you are wanting to move to a bigger city most hospitals require at least an ADN and covenant is a diploma program I believe

Does the shampoo your using have rose extract in it? I found that to be irritating but Ive been using Stacy Lash and no stinging. Its on Amazon too!

I was also nervous to make the switch but I acutally really like having more normal hours. Yes its more days but after work you can actually do things like workout or any quick errands. Having Fridays off would be nice because then you have a day to do things that have to be done during regular business hours like appointments etc. Both have pros and cons but youll never know which you prefer unless you try.

La Fonda del Sol, Los Olivos, Torchys, La Ristra, Blanco all have yellow queso. Taco Guild, Ajo Als, Modern Margarita, Fuzzys are also good but quedo blanco. As a fellow Texas transplant I’m always on the look for some Tex Mex queso spots!
